Heaven or Hell, a new eau de parfum from Worn & Haggard, is an oriental vanilla scent created for both men and women. Launched in 2023, it's a study in contrast – the celestial and the infernal.
The scent opens with lavender, moves to a myrrh heart, and rests on a base of tonka bean, vanilla and almond. It feels like a meeting between airy freshness and deep, resinous warmth.
The lavender top note is sharp and a touch herbaceous, lending an initial clarity that soon gives way to something richer. Myrrh arrives with its familiar balsamic bite – smoky, slightly sweet, and curiously comforting.
It's in the dry down that Heaven or Hell truly comes into its own. Tonka bean and vanilla deliver a smooth, almost edible sweetness, while almond keeps things grounded with a subtle, nutty dryness.
