The name suggests cold, but this scent thrives on opposition: a bright, saline opening, a warm spicy heart, and a soft, sweet base.
Ice Oud starts with an unusual blend of brown sugar, grapefruit, aldehydes, salt, bergamot and mandarin. The salt and citrus give it a crisp, almost sea-breeze freshness, while brown sugar lends a touch of sweetness from the very first spray.
The heart is built around cashmere wood, cinnamon, amber, myrrh and cognac. Here the fragrance turns distinctly warmer, with a spicy, resinous character softened by the powdery embrace of cashmere wood.
The base features musk, tonka bean, vanilla and moss. This combination makes the drydown both creamy and earthy, with the vanilla and tonka bean smoothing out the deeper notes of musk and moss.
