Terpenes are those aromatic molecules that accumulate in cannabis resin as it flowers and buds form; as the plant grows, it smells stronger because the concentration of this substance increases. Depending on the strain, the scents vary: earthy, green, fruity, floral, or citrus. I picked this info up from my cousin Catalina from the village, so don’t be alarmed. The fragrance I’m reviewing smells like a sun-dependent citrus cannabis plant at the peak of its flowering, when at dusk the terpenes project that characteristic scent that calls the municipal authorities. There are many cannabis fragrances, but most focus on the greenest aspects, like the leaf or hemp stalk. Here we have the most resinous part. The fragrance is exactly that; don’t expect more. It’s a terpenic blast for the whole body. It’s the most different cannabis-based fragrance on the market. No brand dares to work with this resinous and potent-smelling part, because if you wear this perfume, you’ll probably be suspected. You might even get stopped by the police at a checkpoint and searched for a few buds. I wear it for personal satisfaction, as I’m very careful about the situations in which I use it. I don’t want to look bad at work or have some young louts approach me to sell me goods. The scent can be a bit overwhelming and is very long-lasting. Always chasing the magic.
