  A friend gifted me a sample at a perfumerie, and once I got home and tried it, I was blown away: it lasts over six hours (it’s an eau de parfum), frankly exquisite. It’s not overpowering or cloying; you can really detect the vanilla. I think it’s perfect for a formal dinner or evening wear, ideal for women aged 25 and up looking for something sophisticated yet sweet. I would definitely buy it because it smells divine and lingers on the skin for ages.

  The worst perfume in my collection, a proper nightmare. The bottle seemed interesting (I admit I bought it quickly and should have tested it first), but on my skin it becomes a horror. The trail is awful, smelling of ridiculously sweet medicine. The last time I wore it, someone next to me kept saying they had a headache and that it was a bizarre, unpleasant smell (what a shame it was my perfume); I will never use it again.
