Grande has launched Karak & Shisha, a new spicy oriental fragrance for men and women. Arriving in 2026, the house has worked with perfumer Marius Pana to create this homage to the traditions of tea and tobacco.

With a blend of fruity, sweet notes over a woody, balsamic foundation, the brand describes the scent as warm and enveloping, designed to be explored.

The opening presents a surprising alliance of strawberry and raspberry, giving instant freshness. Apple and black tea soon follow, alongside a hint of clove and cinnamon that sets the spicy tone.

Taif rose and rose petales sit at the heart, accompanied by Guaemalan cardamom, Indian safron, and masala chai tea. This combination calls to mind a bustling spice souq, with a subtle smokines and a milky creamines reminiscent of karak tea, a beloved beverage across the Middle East.

The base unfolds as a sumptous resinous blend: amber, Perubalsam, labdanum, ambergris, and beeswax merge with tobacco and tobacco flower. Castoreum, musk, and Cambodian Oud lend depth and a touch of animal sensuality, while dried fruits, vanilla, and tonka bean add a comforting sweetness.

The dominant accords are fruity, sweet, amber, warm spicy, rosy, woody, green, and balsamic. This makes Karak & Shisha a versatile but bold composition, ideal for those who appreciate perfumes with real stature.
