Share what you noticed: opening, drydown, sillage and the moments when it works for you.
Total freshness and versatility, very masculine yet unpretentious, ideal for this season. It opens with sparkling lavender bathed in sweet, acidic citrus, like an iced lemonade with a hint of lavender. The dry-down is brief; soon rosemary emerges, embracing the lavender and keeping it present. The lavender feels green, balsamic, and highly aromatic. Gradually, a warm, slightly resinous woody base creeps in, very subtle, adding creaminess to that aromatic lavender. The finish is cheerful and youthful, perfect for informal, daily, or sporty wear. It’s not the eighth wonder of the world, but it holds its own well, and for value-for-money, it’s a great summer buy. Moderate longevity, around five hours, with a soft sillage: noticeable at first, but after half an hour it clings to the skin. Highly recommended for those seeking something of acceptable quality, soft, fresh, and informal. Update: after using half the bottle, it smells very much like a blend of Alfred Dunhill’s Desire for Men and Nikos’s Sculpture Homme, just softer and fresher, with lower performance but the same olfactory impression.
