If you like leather, this is a must: you’ll thank me later. It kicks off spiced to the max with a cumin-saffron combo; the first is spicy, dirty, and animalic, while the second is sweet, fruity, with skin nuances. The dry-down is abrupt but necessary for a perfume of this type. Soon emerges an elegant leather, like a handmade Italian shoe, accompanied by a sweet, resinous, smoky base that fits perfectly. It has two opposite facets: one spicy, animalic, and not delicate, and another balanced with elegance, subtlety, and just the right touch of sweet/smoky. Lasts around 9 hours without issues, with projection in the first 3 hours and moderate sillage. Ideal for autumn/winter (day and night) and also spring evenings, it looks great. Perfect for dates (the reception from girls has been brilliant), semi-formal work, or any occasion where you dress up. I see it as unisex, slightly more masculine but wearable by women. It’s a MARVEL: a different aroma, with character and well-made. It doesn’t smell like TF Tuscan Leather. If you like leathers, try it; it’s one of the best interpretations I’ve heard. If you like leather, try this now, you’ll thank me later. It starts spiced to the max: cumin is spicy, dirty, and animalic, while saffron adds fruity sweetness with skin hints. The dry-down is abrupt but appreciated in a perfume of this type. Soon emerges an elegant leather, like handmade Italian leather shoes, accompanied by an amber base, sweet, resinous, and smoky that blends perfectly with that refined skin. It has two opposite facets: one spicy, animalic, and not delicate, and another balanced with elegance, subtlety, and the right touch of sweet and smoky. Lasts around 9 hours without issues, with projection in the first 3 hours and moderate sillage. Ideal for autumn and winter day or night, and also spring evenings. Perfect for romantic dates (the reception from women has been incredible), semi-formal work, or any occasion where you dress up. I think it’s unisex, though slightly more masculine, but a woman can wear it well. For me, it’s a marvel: a different aroma, purposeful, and well-made. It doesn’t remind me of T.F. Tuscan Leather, just in case you were wondering. If you like leather perfumes, it’s one of the best interpretations I’ve heard. If you want more content, visit my YouTube channel: Perfúmate Con JL.
Boclet is a hidden gem: luxury quality at almost designer prices if you search with patience. Leather notes can be tricky here; sometimes they’re too chemical, as if wearing shoes right up to your nose, or the pink oud is so prominent it ruins the experience, and other times they fail to deliver the sensuality promised in the description. But this fragrance is a marvel. The spices, florals, and citrus give the leather a light yet full-bodied richness that makes you want to sniff it endlessly; the cumin is soft and elegant. Oriental in style, the leather isn’t greasy or raw but pleasant and slightly sweet thanks to the amber and a well-integrated pink rose. Captivating from the start with saffron, lemon, and caraway in harmony, highlighting the lively spark of lemon in the heart. The saffron blends perfectly, nothing aggressive, and the phases merge quickly. Everything is balanced, striking, and masculine (with a minimal liquorish touch); after hours, it oscillates between a creamy amber and elegant leather without losing its spicy sweetness. Important to note that, despite its velvety feel, don’t underestimate its projection: it seems quiet for the wearer but shines with interesting presence for those around. Another great creation from the house, ideal when the thermometer drops.
