What happened to Nina Ricci? They haven’t made anything better since, nor can it even be compared to what’s on the market now. What a pity it can’t be found in perfumeries again and once more they are selling ‘perfumes’ that smell so commercial that they have very little actual perfume in them.

I love it, it’s one of my favourites, but I can’t find it anymore. If anyone knows where to get it, I’d be thrilled because it fascinates me.

The best of the Les Belles de Ricci trio. Deep, spicy, warm and sweet. A complex, lasting vanilla scent that is sorely missing from the current market. What a shame they discontinued it. Of course, Ricci hasn’t made anything like it since. I still keep a small bottle, although after so many years it no longer smells exactly the same.
I met Nina Ricci through this perfume my mum gifted me when I was a teenager… I remember that whenever I wore it, people would ask what I was wearing. I never found a spicy vanilla so delicate in its use; its longevity is another planet (literally). Its dry-down was sophisticated and tender all at once, nothing commercial. I like the brand but they never launched anything else with this calibre… a real pity. It was ideal for autumn and winter and I remember it with beautiful nostalgia, tenderness and kindness; I hope it returns one day because it deserves to be known and valued.

They gifted me a box of Les Belles with four fragrances, one of each colour, and I only knew the classic… what a treat! I loved them all. The Épices version leaves a culinary trail on me, enough to remember it and for my annoyance not to stop me from searching for it.
