  It’s a generic fragrance – not unpleasant, but certainly not impressive. The first spray smells fresh with iris and peony, very similar to the opening of Giorgio Beverly Hills’ G. However, that resemblance lasts only a moment; almost immediately it turns into a ‘bad’ green, synthetic, cheap scent that gives me a headache. You have to put up with it until it dries down, which is pleasant: notes of cypress and sandalwood, a touch of patchouli, and the iris that comes and goes, giving it a unisex character, more discreetly masculine. I don’t detect the cinnamon, though it might be camouflaged by the woods, so no need to worry. Nothing is strident, except that green note which personally grates on my nerves. It’s so timid you only smell it right up against your skin, with no trail. It pleases almost everyone, ideal for gifting or blind buying, but it lasts nothing at all – you need to reapply every two hours. It’s bland and without personality, a good all-rounder (for the car or the emergency drawer). The packaging is dreadful – a useless plastic shell and a hard button you have to press with both hands. Still, I’d give it a chance if the synthetic green doesn’t bother you, but I wouldn’t buy it again; I prefer Cacharel’s Noa or Elizabeth Arden’s True Love, which have more presence and a fresher, higher-quality note.
