  The first few minutes are relatively complex and you’re inundated with an intense and pleasant aroma. This proposal has the Stronger With You base, complemented by a synthetic woody oud note that even seems slightly smoky, and an intense lavender that gives a peculiar brightness. But, at least for me, that sensation disappears quickly, leaving on the skin the typical SWY DNA to which the oud touch is added. It seems the most ‘rough’ of the series without being totally dirty; the slightly smoky and woody touch gives the impression of being the ‘bad boy’ of the family. Despite everything, I think it’s the most suitable for the masses and is quite well designed, although my favourite remains the Leather. The price seems a bit high, but if you’re a teenager or young adult and buy three perfumes a year, you can’t go wrong with the scent, although as general performance it seems a bit justifiable and nothing dazzling.   I like it, a bit sweet for my taste, but my wife loves it. On my part, what I like is that the oud mixed with lavender becomes less heavy.

  I like the sweet stuff, but that kind of oud isn’t for me. But what can I say, it’s an excellent perfume; I understand VivianDial’s joy, I recommend it.

  Stronger With You Oud is a woody, fruity and sweet fragrance. The opening is woody and fresh, with a dry wood almost like leather accompanied by lavender and a spicy touch. Minutes later, the fruity-spicy accord of the line appears, which reminds me of a fruit punch with cinnamon; here the oud/leather balances the sweetness, though it remains sweet but more restrained. A couple of hours later it smells of vanilla, spiced fruits and leather, reminding me a bit of Bottled Oud and 1 Million Prive. Despite balancing the sweetness, it’s not very versatile: I see it only for cold weather, parties or elegant night outs, not for daily use, the office or school. The longevity exceeds 8 hours, although the trail is intermittent; sometimes clear bursts arrive and other times it seems to stay right on the skin. Of the whole line, it’s the one I’ve liked the most alongside the first Stronger, although I confess I haven’t tried the Leather or Amber versions.

  It reminds me 70-80% of Babylon by Penhaligon’s. At first spray, it’s 100% identical, but as it dries down, they separate slightly; in the end, they’re very similar. The Armani version is a touch more acidic, whereas Babylon stays sweeter.

  Exquisite aroma, what a pity it’s only officially sold in the Emirates 🥲. It’s my second favourite flanker from Stronger With You, matching Intensely and falling just short of Absolutely and Amber. The oud note is prominent, easy-going and pleasant; I love it as much as the one in Oud for Greatness by Initio or Oud Wood by Tom Ford. Whenever I can, I’ll make sure to stock up on a spare bottle – I adored it and I’d recommend it a thousand times! ☺️

The oud note is prominent, easy to like and pleasant; I love it as much as the Oud for Greatness from Initio or the Oud Wood from Tom Ford. When I get the chance, I’ll make sure to have a spare; I loved it and recommend it to the top! ☺️

  I’ve been wearing STW EDT since 2017 and this was my first flanker; as a fan of the line, it’s a delight for oud lovers. Being a commercial fragrance, the vanilla dominates the oud at the start before disappearing completely, leaving behind a rich, dark vanilla. The longevity is infinite; I try not to spray it on clothes because it’s so complex. If you don’t like oud but want to dip your toes into this world – as the taste comes with repetition – I’d totally recommend it as a starting point.

If you don’t like oud but want to dip your toes into the perfume world, I recommend it a thousand times to get started.

  Very good. I bought it recently and it seems very similar to Black Iris.
