Well, since no one has reviewed this yet, here goes. Noir Ambré sits in the same vein as Interlude or Soul by Costume National: it smells very dark. For me, alongside Or Incens, it is one of the best, although Noir Ambré feels slightly more original. You detect the amber and saffron notes constantly; at first it seems linear, but then it shifts to something harder. I perceive a hint of leather, reminiscent of Ombré Leather. Longevity reaches nearly 7 hours and 30 minutes with moderate projection. I find it lacking in this regard, but on my skin, fragrances tend to last longer in winter, with few exceptions. Edit: It is very long-lasting, though the saffron can become tiring and monotonous; it is heavy and quite dark. Without a doubt, it is the BEST I have smelled from Issey Miyake, even more so than Noir Argent. A masterpiece.

It left me speechless; I never thought Issey had the potential to drop a gem like this. I underestimated the brand and now realise it is severely undervalued. Although there are perfumes with similar compositions, I tried Habdan and Oajan and they are nothing like it. The quality is extraordinary, from the opening to the base notes. It exudes sensuality and quality, and above all, it is worth every penny. It is a little dark yet sweet at the same time. It is a wonder; it arrived a few weeks ago and is already in my top designer scents. I think Issey Miyake pulled a fast one on the fashion houses with this gem. It is in my top 3 designer scents for life due to its quality and spicy scent. Furthermore, it was a launch exclusive to the Middle East, which adds to its exclusivity. The longevity is excellent, as is the trail. Given how Miyake works, I give it a 9.5/10 because this is simply a wonder.

It left me speechless; I never thought Issey had the potential to throw out such a jewel. I underestimated the brand, and now I think it is greatly undervalued. Although there are perfumes with similar compositions, I tried Habdan and Oajan, and they are nothing alike. The quality is extraordinary, from the opening to the dry down. It exudes sensuality and quality, and above all, it is worth every penny. It is a little dark yet sweet. It is a marvel; it arrived a few weeks ago and is already in my top designer scents. I think Issey Miyake was having a laugh at the fashion houses with this jewel. It is in my top 3 designer scents for life due to its quality and spicy scent. Furthermore, it was a launch exclusive to the Middle East, which adds to its exclusivity. Longevity is excellent, and so is the trail. Given how Miyake works, I give it a 9.5/10 because this is a marvel.

  • This is an absolute treasure. I bought it blindly during the pandemic (November 2021) for around $100, mainly because of Max Forti’s review. This is an undervalued masterpiece.

  • I picked it up blindly, almost by chance, in an online store: a new Issey Miyake I had never heard of. I looked for information more out of curiosity than interest, but reading the reviews here convinced me to take the risk. It smells remarkably similar to Boss Bottled Absolu, though perhaps less sweet and a bit dustier. I find it less sharp, so I see it as more versatile than Boss, albeit with less presence. A scent totally outside my radar that I have loved, a hidden gem.
