Incense, balsamic resins, shadowed woods and seasoning share one expressive plane here. Each material is legible as a facet present at the same moment, with no imposed sequence.
Among the facets, myrrh, benzoin, labdanum, gurjum balsam and incense supply the balsamic warmth. The impression is enveloping and ambery, its darker sweetness carefully restrained.
The smoky timber facet unites birch, cade oil, oud wood, cedar and amyris flower. Dry with a faintly fiery edge, it lends the fragrance its ceremonial colour.
Castoreum, musk, Ambrocenide, cashmere and iris form the softer animal facet. The leather impression stays smooth and discreet, while musk and cashmere lend roundness and iris lends a powdery haze.
Cinnamon, elemi, costus and southernwood provide the seasoned herbal facet. Cinnamon offers heat rather than sugar, elemi a resinous lift, costus and southernwood an aromatic green accent.
