Well, it’s a rather unusual fragrance; it doesn’t smell bad, in fact, it seems more expensive than it is, as I have it because it was a gift. Regarding the scents, the first note is resin and patchouli, but there’s a problem: in the third note, which is totally perceptible, it smells like a food spice I can’t identify but which I’ve already smelled in my kitchen. The truth is that, at least for me, it gives me quite a repulsion to use it since I don’t like that note. As for longevity, it’s an eau de parfum, so it lasts quite a while, and its trail for the first two to three hours is heavy, then it becomes softer but remains perceptible, and for me, it’s a torture while drying down because the spicy scent becomes more noticeable. As for age, it’s not for very young people; I’d say it’s for those over thirty, and it’s undoubtedly a winter and evening perfume. Cheers!
Another Al Rehab masterpiece. Here, Lord shamelessly imitates the classic Ted Lapidus Pour Homme. Ted Lapidus PH is a very strong, dense, extreme fragrance, a masterpiece of men’s perfumery. In my opinion, Lord clones it very accurately; I don’t notice many differences. The same pineapple opening that later transforms into a dense, powerful ball of masculinity that lasts for hours. Its projection and longevity, just like the original, are nuclear and endless. If you like men’s powerhouses, you cannot miss out on this Al Rehab Lord.
Lord smells super eighties, manly, fresh, citrusy and green, yet with plenty of oomph. At first, the citrus and patchouli burst over a resinous base, creating the illusion of something fruity, like pineapple; the opening is excellent, fresh and potent, and I absolutely love it. Then the citrus fades and the spices gain body, seasoning a woody, earthy patchouli that is sweetly balsamic and dominates until the very end. For a cheap perfume, it lasts a long time, exceeding eight hours on skin, with moderate projection initially, ideal for mild climates and suitable for day or night wear. If you like eighties scents, you must try it; highly recommended. Personally, I adored the opening, though the middle and dry-down didn’t appeal to me much, probably because I’m not a fan of this style, which is a drawback for a review. Nevertheless, it’s a great perfume in its own right and for the price, those who don’t take the risk simply don’t want to. Review of the roll-on oil.
Hey @Bofifa, which Ted Lapidus does this resemble? I sometimes get confused between the grey bottle and the brown one. Best wishes, mate!
