  It has become one of my favourites: I picked it up by chance in a department store without expecting much, and it was the only one from the line I liked. It has a slight resemblance to Hypnotic Poison, sharing neroli and musk; at first it’s aldehydic with a tiny hint of spice, but as it dries down it becomes sweeter and powdery, less generic. I compared it side by side and Ma Victorie lasts on the skin even after a shower. The bottle is unique and stands out among my perfumes. I trust creator Cecile because of her work with Amouage and Ani de Nishane, so I know where the quality and longevity come from. On me: projection for 3–4 hours, a very wide sillage (people ask about it even when I can’t smell it), and a minimum 12-hour longevity on skin and up to washing on clothes. I wear it in autumn and winter, day and night, though it works best for evening occasions. It suits both men and women. Without a doubt, a gem that will stay with me.
