A perfume crafted to appeal to everyone. It opens spicy, yet without the overwhelming bazaar-oud scent; instead, it’s a subtle spice, reminiscent of cedar or oak drawers. Soon, frankincense emerges with a hint of sweet fruit and vanilla. I don’t detect a dominant saffron, but rather a blend of spices, perhaps a touch of rose—that affected note that suggests cedar or oak more than oud—drying down into frankincense, vanilla, and a fruity sweetness. Although the official notes may differ, this is how it smells to me. The presentation, featuring a Murano glass mask, is a true jewel, though it attracts fingerprints like a magnet. Longevity lasts a full working day; if you have split shifts, you might need to reapply at lunch. It’s noticeably prominent and clearly timeless for the first three hours. Ideal as a signature scent. The only downside is the price, but nothing is perfect.
