  I’m surprised there are no reviews for such a beautiful and original fragrance. It’s a pity they’ve stopped selling it (though I believe it was never sold in stores in Spain anyway), but you can still find it at some online retailers. A few years ago it was one of my favourite perfumes, and now we’re meeting it again. Fresh – not citrusy! – crystalline, with a slight bitter note, clearly summery. Bamboo and lotus flower, a barely perceptible drop of green tea, a hint of watermelon, and the soft musk is very noticeable in the dry-down. I don’t detect rose or blackcurrant. Very well balanced, minimalist, calm, nothing heavy, very ‘politically correct’ if you like, very… Japanese. The trail is very soft, leaning towards discreet, with moderate longevity. P.S. So my Mat doesn’t feel too lonely, I’m also getting the Mat Chocolat, which is still available, though it’s a completely different story, and I’ll leave that review later in the appropriate section.
