Michael by Michael Kors is a floral musky woody fragrance for women. Michael was launched in 2000. Michael was created by Laurent Le Guernec and Alain Alchenberger. The top notes are freesia, Chinese osmanthus (fragrant olive of China), tamarind and frankincense; the heart notes are neroli, calla lily, peony, iris and lily root; the base notes are musk, cashmere wood and vetiver.

Polianthes tuberosa is my favourite note; I’m truly fascinated by it. Tuberose is the star of the show in Michael Kors. I also notice a strong scent of freesia and tamarind (though not on the list, it appears elsewhere). The tamarind gives it a sweet-and-sour touch. It’s sweet, but a sweet floral without being cloying. To me, it sounds tropical, like banana bubblegum—nothing wrong, just in the top notes. MK is ultra-feminine and I’ve received many compliments; people ask what smells so marvellous. The projection is incredible; whoever wears it won’t go unnoticed. Longevity is good on my skin. Michael Kors is a strong fragrance, contemporary yet bold, with a diva soul. For women, not for girls.

Very good perfume with top-notch longevity and trail. It’s floral, but here the neroli takes the show, and I adore it. The truth is, I would need very little perfume, but I willingly apply a few more touches because I enjoy it so much. Never on clothes, because fibres alter the scents; always on the skin. It brings back memories of my first floral, Gardenia Bloosom by Jafra, which I adored when I was seven or eight years old. Wearing Michael is like wearing a neroli cigar on your skin: natural, sophisticated, for a confident, radiant, and cheerful woman who makes herself noticed. Imagine a tiara of white flowers on your head. I love it for day and night, although not for going out partying; it’s too beautiful to mix with the aromas of a bar or club.
I love this perfume; it’s genuinely delicious and smells heavily of neroli, in fact, it’s the only note I detect from start to finish. Although it has many notes, I don’t sense anything else but the neroli. Nevertheless, it fascinates me; it feels like a super interesting and sophisticated scent. I’ve never used anything similar and liked it very much. It lasts, and the scent is quite noticeable. The first time I applied a bit too much, and I think it wasn’t necessary as it doesn’t require much. I recommend it highly; it feels timeless, so I think it works well in any occasion, although more so in autumn and winter. Likewise, it suits both day and night.

What an exquisite fragrance! I have the feeling I’ve smelled it before; it’s very familiar. I adore it; it’s ultra-feminine and elegant, enveloping you with its trail. When wearing it, you’ll never go unnoticed. Very floral and sweet, but with a refined, elegant sweetness. It’s made to stand out, to add presence, femininity, empowerment, and luxury.

Bought it blind because it was said to be identical to Nasomatto’s Narcotic V, and it’s true! It smells exactly the same but at a much lower price. I loved it instantly. I was looking for something affordable to replace the original, which is ridiculously expensive here, and I found it. How happy I am!
I’ve just acquired this fragrance, I like it but perhaps I’ll buy the reformulated one or I don’t know, but mine has the MK Collection letters. I would have liked to know the 2000 version, but still it seems like a very good aroma with a narcissus scent and nothing else. I give it an 8.
I dreamt of this perfume for a long time and feel it identifies me totally. To my regret, thanks to my pH, on me it’s not the beast in projection and sillage that is mostly mentioned, but I still think it’s the most beautiful aroma among the perfumes I’ve had access to nowadays. Although its opening is somewhat invasive, after 10 minutes it tends to settle, leaving, in my case, only the vibrant narcissus in the air, sweet, creamy, and extremely striking. Like Mapache, I am a widow of Fragile and in every launch that integrates narcissus in its notes, I seek a similarity with that wonderful perfume. Actually, my review can’t be objective. I’m happy just to approach the bottle and smell the residue of the perfume on the atomiser.
This type of perfume should always exist. Fresh, sweet, a floral with creamy narcissus. Uff, delicious. A beast in longevity and projection; when I use it I only receive compliments, I can smell it on me all day, even after showering. The bottle is unique, only that… it’s so uncomfortable to press the atomiser 😅, regardless, I love it ❤️

I was gifted a small, nameless travel size, only knowing it was Michael Kors; I searched every perfumerie I could until I found it… before that, I didn’t know which of its wonderful notes was the one hypnotising me, until recently I smelled another perfume with the same note which, in my judgement, predominates more on my skin: the narcissus. What a beautiful and powerful white flower… I had never felt a narcissus as beautiful as this until I found it. It’s a mature perfume with classic airs, creamy, and ideal for cold climates (where I feel it shines more, as that creaminess embraces you). If I had to criticise anything, it would never be its scent or performance because they are brutal (over 10 hours), but its integrated cap prevents me from decanting it and carrying it everywhere. I simply love it!
Michael by Michael Kors is a floral, powdery, and clean composition, with well-worked narcissus in its most herbal version, creating a feminine, sober, and elegant atmosphere. In my opinion, it has great presence and rounds off a polished look; it’s not a casual perfume but has solemnity and opulence. The performance is good, it projects well, and lasts about six or seven hours. It resembles others, yes, it’s definitely a less cloying and more wearable interpretation of the classic Carolina Herrera, closer to Gucci Bloom, but certainly they are three beautiful cousins. Who will like it: lovers of narcissus.
Hello fragrance lovers, for me Michael Kors is and will be the best narcissus perfume I’ve ever had in my collection. I ran out of my last bottle ages ago and, being discontinued, I haven’t been able to find it again. I used it for years as a signature scent; it lasted all day and its projection was no less. I hope the brand brings it back; I would buy it immediately.

It’s been on the market for 25 years and feels nothing like vintage. I consider it quite versatile. It’s hard to find, but it’s worth having in your collection.
