Liked it. Smells super synthetic, with a very clear ‘chavvy’ touch, but it’s a beast. I usually hate fruity scents, but this is a woody fruit with mystery: cheerful yet with a sexy aftertaste. It’s not that sharp, acidic tropical fruit that gives you a headache; the cashmere gives body to the raspberry and apricot, making them velvety. The rose isn’t obvious; it adds an elegant, silky tone to the fruit. Sexy Ruby (what a cool name) smells like perfumed liquor. Reminds me of Benetton Tribu and Laguna Dalí; they’re not the same, but all three have that narcotic, cheerful, mysterious, and luminous fruity or woody chypre vibe, like a mix of royal fragrances and catalogue colognes from the nineties: super cheerful and creamy hybrids, before the trend of unbearable fruity notes like lychee, guava, or passion fruit took over. Yesterday someone gave me a sniff and had me smelling it non-stop all afternoon. I’m sure it’s not worth the price, I’m sure Victoria’s Secret catalogues have body milks with a similar scent, but the fact that I like it has amused me quite a bit.
The wood is very noticeable and predominates over the rest, it’s undoubtedly a nocturnal fragrance.
It’s very matronly. I was gifted it for my birthday and after three months I haven’t used it once; I can’t find where to use it. I think I’ll end up giving it to my mother. It’s a strong scent; I think it’s the roses and the wood that hit me the most, but I don’t like it. What a pity because it appears often on the person who gave it to me and it’s very expensive. I wouldn’t buy it, but since I have it, I’ll look for a good use for it, either on myself or someone else.

Replying to Kariav… I don’t know Sexy Ruby but the same happened to me with Alien: from the bottle to the scent they are majestic, and that’s why I never used them because I didn’t have occasions like that, but the truth is you have to use them, enjoy them, whenever you like them (love, love, I didn’t like one and sold it for example, but I started using Alien for the office). And goodbye, enjoy it from time to time in daily occasions.
Brutal quality bottle, impressive red colour, and the fragrance lasts on my skin for more than a day without exaggerating. Smells like a paper banknote taken out of a leather wallet, impregnated in a perfume that isn’t vanilla-like or cloyingly sweet; it’s a proper perfumey scent. Seems like a Mancera or high-end fragrance due to the papyrus-like smell. I love that it has an indescribable scent: it’s not fruity, not floral, it evolves, it’s uncommon, and I can’t find a similar match. It’s so good and mysterious that the sexy aspect fits perfectly, without being sweet or salty, very balanced. I feel you can use it for work, for an executive role, or a command position; it has a peculiar character. Trail 10/10, Longevity 10/10.

I was quite surprised. The first minute reminded me of Valentina Pink with potent raspberry that fades quickly, giving way to a subtly sweetened rose by honeysuckle and a woody base that creates darkness. It’s mysterious, sexy and provocative; it always generates curiosity until people ask what I’m wearing. This also surprises me: at 40 minutes I almost don’t feel it myself, but others, after 4 hours, say they perceive it as potent. I suspect it causes olfactory fatigue in me. In conclusion, it’s very good and high quality, super attractive, suitable for various occasions because it’s potent but not overwhelming. The only ‘bad’ thing is that in my case it’s more enjoyment for the other person than for me, as they feel it for hours and I don’t. Nevertheless, I love it and would buy it again.
A fragrance that surprised me quite a bit. The first minute reminded me of Valentina Pink with a potent raspberry that fades quickly, making way for a subtly sweetened rose by honeysuckle and a woody base that generates darkness. It’s a mysterious, sexy, and provocative perfume; it always generates curiosity to the point where I wonder what I’m wearing. This point surprises me: after 40 minutes I can hardly smell it myself, but others, even after 4 hours, perceive it perfectly and potently. I suspect it causes olfactory fatigue in me. In conclusion, it’s very good and quality, super attractive and usable on various occasions because it’s potent but not overwhelming. The only ‘bad’ thing is that in my case it’s more of a treat for the other person than for me, as they smell it for hours and I don’t. Nevertheless, I love it and would buy it again.
On my skin it’s pure jasmine, intensely terrible. I hate its opening and the first 40 minutes. Afterwards the jasmine drops and it seems like raspberry in full bloom. Pity that here it feels very close to the skin. I’ll probably sell or exchange it.
I bought it for the declared notes and the excellent price. It has a vintage aura. It’s opulent, glamorous, ’round’. I understand the idea behind ‘sexy ruby’ and share the ‘sexy depth’ of other comments. Something in its composition reminds me of catalogue fragrances from my aunties (sexy and elegant women) from the late 70s and early 80s, BUT modernised, re-versioned. In my subjective opinion, it has the air of a fragrance from another time. Elegant, fine. It’s like a jewel that will always be expensive, like a ‘ruby’ ❤️. I loved the bottle, beautiful faceted red with cap and gold lettering. Who will love this? I imagine it suits a confident woman, classic and vintage elegance, perfectly made up, fresh from the hairdresser, overwhelming personality, a 1950s black-and-white movie diva. It’s not generic to please everyone. Vintage collectors will go crazy 🤯. It’s for collection and to revisit when the exact moment comes. Definitely long-term love 😍. Obviously, I recommend trying before buying.
A fragrance of love/hate. Some days I felt powerful, like a high-ranking boss… other days I didn’t like it and it seemed like vintage for a mature woman. I like it more than I don’t. Strong opening, elegant vintage touch, like a drink with jasmine and something sharp/rare, then the rose enters and it evolves. I feel it’s nocturnal, feminine, for a woman with personality and refined taste. In ten years (when I’m 40) I’ll match this better; it’s different from trend fragrances. Anyway, I like it, it’s sophisticated and when I want to feel ‘high-ranking, executive and secure’, I put down the gourmands and use this. Very good longevity, intense trail in the first hours, sometimes annoying. It sticks to clothes a lot. Not for everyone.
A fragrance of love and hate. Some days I wanted it and felt powerful, feminine, a high-ranking boss… other days I didn’t like it much and felt it was vintage and for a more mature woman. I like it more than I dislike it. Very strong opening, vintage touch but elegant, like a shot of alcohol with jasmine and something slightly sharp/quirky, then the rose comes in, it evolves, and I feel it differently at different moments. I feel it’s more nocturnal and very feminine, for a woman with personality and refined taste. I think in 10 years (when I’m 40) I’ll match better with this perfume; it’s different from today’s ‘trendy’ fragrances. Anyway, I still like it and feel it’s sophisticated; when I want to feel ‘high-ranking, businesswoman, and secure’, I leave my gourmand fragrances aside and use this. Longevity is very good; the first hour or so has an intense trail, sometimes it even bothers me. It sticks to clothes quite a bit. Not for everyone.
Seems an interesting, elegant, and vintage perfume that reminds me of other eras. On the opening it smells potent, like an aged liquor with a sweet touch (without being cloying), then that sweetness settles and you feel the rose alongside the woody notes. I also feel it’s a bit powdery.
I find it interesting, elegant and vintage, bringing back memories of other eras. At first it’s potent, like an aged spirit with a sweet touch (without being cloying), then it settles a bit, the sweetness rises, the rose comes in with its woody notes and a touch of talc.
Didn’t close for me entirely. The rose smells vintage. I’ll keep trying it, but I definitely wouldn’t buy it again.
Didn’t quite convince me. The rose feels vintage. I’ll keep trying it, but clearly I wouldn’t buy it again.
