A spiced masculine perfume with sandalwood, coffee, and cardamom. Sweet due to praline and chocolate, but not feminine. Don’t expect a PureXS because it is sweet, nor the Tous Emerald. Rosendo Mateu nº5 is more unisex than Musamam White Intense. It is ambered, but not clean. Any sweet Western commercial masculine perfume is surpassed by it. Lots of marketing on social media.
I received the perfume today so my opinion is not yet solid, but it is a unisex fragrance leaning heavily towards the feminine. It has a lot in common with Gris Charnel, only that it is a bit creamier and more feminine. You can also notice the citrus and some spices like Angel’s Share at the beginning, but very soft (I don’t know Khamrah). It has a lot in common with Francique, only that Musamam is creamier and more noticeable. It is a very beautiful perfume, very niche, nothing synthetic or midway oriental. I don’t find it similar to Versace Cristal Noir (I don’t like it at all). If you have Gris, this is redundant, but if you want a creamy sandalwood and something similar, Musamam is perfect.
A fragrance that leans towards the feminine. It is for an elegant, determined, and confident woman. Ideal for meetings, formal events, or to stand out. It is fresh, sweet, and citrusy all at once; the sweetness is subtle but integrates well with the sandalwood, which is quite noticeable, and with the citrus part. I liked it quite a lot. Its presentation is exquisite; the box imitates snake skin, it opens like a glasses case, the cap has an iconic golden snake, and on top there is a white piece that mimics the texture of the skin. It is sublime.
Edit: A scent that captivates wherever I go. Everyone says how good it smells and describes it as a wonder. Very citrusy with a hydrating body effect: greasy, creamy, probably due to the sandalwood. Unisex but perhaps it leans slightly towards the feminine. The trail and longevity are very good for its price. Although I can no longer perceive it myself, people keep saying how good I smell.
Very rich fragrance; I find it very similar to Light Blue Italian Love 2022 (feminine), although I feel this one is more refined. The citrus part is less sharp and feels very creamy from the start. There is a note, probably due to the combination of ingredients, that is peach and appears a few minutes after application. A pleasant, refined, and rich fragrance; for me, unisex, although it tends towards the feminine. You need to be comfortable with those citrus, vanilla, peach, and Ylang Ylang notes.
The citrus opening doesn’t last long and improves later, although it is a bit odd. It gives me a metallic sensation. Then the coconut is very pleasant, in a creamy style. In Uruguay, it’s not worth the price you pay; between $198 and $149 dollars at the current peso exchange rate. But if you find it cheaper, share it without hesitation; it’s an easy, beautiful scent, very much to everyone’s liking.
Intense, but if I must be honest, quite dreadful…
I love it. I bought it blindly because so many people praise it while others hate it; I took the plunge and I have no regrets. The orange adds a delicious touch, combined with coconut and sandalwood, making me feel like I’m watching a sunset on the beach. It’s fresh with a sweet hint, good for day or night, and I like it for going out. In my opinion, it’s not the typical citrus perfume.
I understand the link to Gris Charnel, but no. The sandalwood and that creaminess make it feel feminine. It’s unisex, but it leans heavily towards the feminine side. It’s so rich I can’t stop smelling it, and I realised that when it dries down, it reminds me of Birds of Paradise by Carolina Herrera. At first, they are worlds apart because the birds are green, whereas Musamam is white and floral, but then a mango and coconut note appears that is almost identical. Gris Charnel is sharper and more citrusy, while Musamam is softer, warmer, and sweeter. Will a man wear it? Of course, if you like soft, complex scents and have no complex about smelling ‘feminine’. It’s fresh and sophisticated, a beauty that breaks down gender divisions. The bottle is absolutely gorgeous; buy it if you’re looking for something like this.
I bought it blindly with high hopes, but to my nose, it smells woody, citrusy, and very masculine. It could be unisex, but I see it as more for men. I gave it to my husband and he absolutely loved it. Perfect for spring and summer; an elegant scent.
I love it! While my favourite is Versace Crystal Noir, dark and seductive, Musamam White Intense is a more wearable, summery version. It has a citrus opening that transitions into a sweetened coconut with ylang-ylang and a creamy sandalwood base, alongside delicious spices. I’m not an expert, but it’s a gem! It lasts all day, projects decently, and catches attention. My husband finds it exotic and seductive. The bottle and box are gorgeous, looking luxurious. For me, it’s a 10 out of 10.
So far, it’s my favourite Arabic fragrance. On my skin, the coconut predominates, which is what I was looking for; it’s the richest coconut scent I’ve ever experienced. It lasts over 24 hours; I showered and it’s still there. The packaging is a 10. My best purchase to date.
Musamam White Intense is fresh and clean with an elegant floral touch. Initially, it blends citrus and soft florals, light and refreshing. It then becomes warm and gentle, with musk and a slight fruity sweetness (coconut) making it comfortable for daily wear. It’s perfect for those seeking something discreet yet sophisticated, without being overly intense.
I took a risk and have no regrets. I bought it blind for the coconut and ylang-ylang, though they aren’t as pronounced as in Maison Alhambra’s Montaigne Coco. At first, the bergamot is citrusy and vibrant, with a sweet orange touch that balances the freshness. The sandalwood is noticeable from the start and adds warmth. Drying down, it leaves a fresh, summery sweetness, ideal for sunny days. The blend of woods and that sweetness creates something elegant and unisex that fascinates me. Plus, it layers beautifully with Alien Goddess. It’s perfect for summer and everyday wear; I’d buy it again. Recommended for those seeking something fresh, versatile, and elegant.
I like it. It opens citrusy, sweet, powdery, and warm from the spices. Then the ylang-ylang appears with the mahogany, adding freshness. Everything is wrapped in the sweetness and warmth of the coconut, which isn’t very prominent but provides creaminess. Drying down, there’s a soft, creamy sandalwood that is very pretty. It’s for personal enjoyment, not powerful or long-lasting, but I reapply to enjoy it. The elaborate Arabic bottles aren’t my style, but it doesn’t matter. It has everything, albeit slightly: fresh, woody, sweet, warm, and creamy. Suitable for daily wear, not special events. It adapts to any season except extreme cold. Very lovely and good value.
It’s the spring version of Crystal Noir, more versatile. I don’t see the redundancy in owning both; they complement each other perfectly.
I bought it blind based on the notes, and it doesn’t smell as I expected, though it’s not bad. Upon spraying, I detect spices and a sweetness I can’t quite identify, all very blended. As it dries down, the spices recede and I like it more; a salty touch emerges, adding freshness. It starts unisex but becomes more feminine-leaning as it settles, though it would suit a man well too. It lasts quite a while on my skin, with the trail becoming intimate over time. I don’t detect coconut, which is a pity as I hoped for a coconut-sandalwood blend, but it’s lovely. Intense at first, it shines outdoors as the breeze lifts it. For me, it doesn’t smell niche or justify its price, but it has an original scent. It could be a signature fragrance in temperate climates.
I have a decant of this fragrance, and what luck! Another clone of Gris Charnel seems to have a very heavy, sweaty musk. I’ll stick with Francique 66.55 from FW.
Musamam White Intense and Versace Crystal Noir Eau de Toilette compare closely, yet their compositions are vastly different. Musamam opens with citrus, followed by coconut and ylang-ylang for a creamy texture, with a base of warm, enveloping sandalwood and musk. Versace, by contrast, is fresher and more vibrant due to its spicy opening of pepper and ginger, paired with light florals like gardenia and peony. Musamam is dense and long-lasting, ideal for cooler days, whereas Versace feels airier. I enjoy both and keep them in my collection.
I rarely agree with reviews, but this one stands out. The scent is unusual; perhaps I’d wear it in summer, but there’s a salty note that doesn’t suit me, and it’s oddly unlisted on the label.
The opening is citrusy, but it becomes sweet as it dries. It can work as unisex, although on my skin it leans masculine. The coconut note is the most predominant when dry, so if you like it, it is an excellent option. It has good sillage and longevity. Personally, I didn’t connect with it, but I recognise its quality and its appeal for those seeking a sweet fragrance with tropical touches.
I find it elegant and very unisex. I imagined it differently when buying it blindly: I expected creamy, tropical, and clean coconut, but it leans more towards citrus, woody, and I understand why many might find it masculine. I have liked it quite a bit, even though it wasn’t what I expected. It is super elegant and I wear it on night outings when I am dressed up. Ideal for all seasons, day and night; I find it versatile.
I was going to buy it blindly because of the notes I like, but I tested it first and was surprised. It wasn’t what I expected: I didn’t want a sweet, creamy sandalwood and coconut, but prominent spices and a coconut that tastes more like coconut water than cream. It is well-spiced, elegant, full-bodied, and lasts a long time. It overwhelmed me; I washed my wrist and it wouldn’t go away; it lingered on clothes for days with just one spray. Tremendous longevity, but unfortunately, it is not to my liking. I felt it was very masculine. Perhaps with vanilla or something sweeter… I wouldn’t buy it blindly. Try it on your skin.
It is not for me; it feels very masculine and smells of spices. I don’t sense the coconut or the citrus. It is good in longevity; I was washing my forearm over and over and it was hard to get rid of the scent. I do not recommend buying it blindly; it is a peculiar fragrance. The bottle and its case are spectacular.
Sandalwood, coconut, and spices, in that order. I love it. It is very different from what I usually love, but I adore it. I don’t detect anything citrusy. Do not buy it blindly. It is a woody sandalwood with coconut that many will either love or hate. I have an adolescent son who also enjoys it. Totally unisex.
I loved it on the first spray. It is fruity, spiced, and has a sweet touch, feeling unisex-feminine. On blotting paper it remains sweet, but on my skin it is super masculine. I thought I would like it, but it is too spiced and smells like men’s deodorant. I find it dirty and could never wear it comfortably. It is not my style.
It is very different from what I usually wear. I wanted to try something like Gris Charnel with a twist, and this is exactly that. What I notice most are the spices and sandalwood; the coconut is in the background, very elegant. It isn’t very sweet. I see it as totally unisex, probably smelling different depending on who wears it. I wouldn’t use it in the heat; the spices remind me of cold weather. It reminds me a bit of Maison Margiela’s ‘Autumn Vibes’. I’ve worn it for hours and like it more.
I’ve been wearing it for months and like it very much. It reminds me of Versace’s Nour Cristal. It is strong, ideal for autumn and winter nights. If you have a good sense of smell, you can detect the orange combined with spices. There is a subtle, light, and elegant coconut, but the spices and sandalwood give it maturity and make it imposing. You won’t go unnoticed. It smells expensive, so apply it moderately as it is strong but delicious. It is elegant, mature, and sexy when dry, with a powdery feel. I recommend it for women aged 30 and above who are super glamorous.
It is gorgeous and the one I have used most from my collection of over 100 perfumes. When I ran out of half the bottle, I didn’t hesitate to buy another because it is a true all-rounder, versatile, and smells high-end. I love it in every season.
If you like sandalwood, this is your perfume. I am absolutely fascinated by it and already own a second bottle. The star is sandalwood, with a sparkling, sweet citrus opening. I can’t quite identify the coconut, but it adds creaminess to the wood, while spices and florals linger in the background. It feels elegant, comforting, and introspective. It isn’t tropical, yet it has a summery air. It’s not casual and might polarise opinions. Although it’s pricier than other Lattafa fragrances, its performance isn’t extraordinary.
I couldn’t try it; I fell for the reviewers’ hype and would have loved to know this before buying, as I now regret it. Be aware: this perfume is 70% woody with spices and 30% coconut. If you don’t like wood as the main note, you won’t like this perfume. If you enjoy woody scents, it’s an elegant fragrance that lasts all day and works much better in winter.
Opens slightly sweet and citrusy, maturing into a mainly woody, spicy note. Personally, I don’t quite detect the coconut and find it a bit weak. I asked three friends throughout the day if they could smell my cologne, and none of them could. I applied it twice to the sides of the neck, nape, and wrists, plus a bit on clothes. To finish, at the base of the fragrance, I do notice a rather artificial aftertaste. The scent isn’t bad, but I don’t think it’s for me.
This perfume is gorgeous. It’s a citrusy, woody coconut that I simply adore, and it lasts for ages.
Roasted coconut and sandalwood… a beautiful perfume. Very mature and elegant.
This perfume surprised me for the better. It has incredible quality. These are the kind of perfumes you need to wear with personality, as they are imposing. It’s very well balanced, but what really stands out on my skin is the sandalwood, coconut, and spices.
I’m in love with this fragrance; it’s my first Lattafa, and I adore it. It leaves a trail and lasts for days on clothes. It’s a 10/10; I’d buy it again without hesitation. I never get tired of it.
Opens with a citrusy touch, then the sandalwood kicks in with full force, leaving a creamy dry down. A perfume for fresh days. Potent. Lasts perfectly for eight hours. You’ll only like it if you enjoy woody scents.
I’d heard whispers of this one here and there. One day in the centre, I spotted a shop selling 30ml tubes, Chinese knock-offs, but I got a good sense of the scent. I was totally impressed; while it’s not 100% identical to the original, it gave me a real idea, and honestly, it tasted delicious. I’m not a fan of sweet perfumes, but I do love those with coconut, and although it’s a bit like Le Beau, it gives the coconut a different twist that really caught my attention. Now I’m waiting for the original; let’s hope it lives up to this.
At first, I didn’t like the perfume, but after letting it settle and smelling it again, I fell in love. It’s intense and very long-lasting. Leaves an incredible trail. The scent is very special, highlighting the sandalwood, coconut, and spices. It lasts for days on clothes.
Woody opening with spicy notes. The coconut comes through more towards the end. Lasts quite a while; I wouldn’t call it beastly, but it does last. Personally, some perfumes fade quickly on me, but not this one. You need to like wood to appreciate this scent. I think it has a great price-to-quality ratio. I recommend it; it’s worth trying.
