A biscuit note, haha.
I love it; excellent longevity. It doesn’t resemble the Paris Corner version, which I didn’t like. An excellent blind buy.
I tried it in-store, not on my skin. I was surprised; it’s literally a banana split but very soft. Although I’m not a fan of this type of fragrance, I liked it much more than the original Eclaire. I’d give it a chance.
The opening did not fully convince me. Later I perceived the banana, but on me the caramel dominates, warm like the Whetter’s original. The banana was barely noticeable for 3 seconds. Edited: now I feel the sugary and creamy vanilla, just smelling my wrist.
The new flanker of Eclaire is here, and the banana shines incredibly bright—creamy, natural, and wrapped in vanilla, praline, and milky notes. It’s an exquisite, well-constructed gourmand. Of the two new releases, I prefer Banoffi: it has more personality, is cheerful and comforting without losing elegance. It’s sweet, yet has an almost edible texture, perfect for the gourmand side of perfumery. I highly recommend it, though do try before buying, as it might be a scent you adore but wouldn’t feel brave enough to wear.
At the start they are banana gummies, then it remains like a creamy smoothie. I loved it, it lasted over 6 hours and I could smell it all day. If you like banana, I recommend it; it smells different to everything I have ever smelled.
I received this as a decant and liked it, especially in the dry-down. Straight out of the bottle, it smells very much like a banana treat and isn’t my style for wearing on the skin, but as it dries down, it evolves into a wonderfully creamy banana cake. I’d recommend it if you enjoy sweet fragrances.
I approached it because I like banana, but although it’s not bad, it wasn’t what I expected. The opening is a sweet, delicious little banana but lasts only three minutes; from the start, it sits very close to the skin. Yes, it lasted six hours, but always close to the skin. The dry-down is a gourmand smelling of milk biscuits. Not bad, but nothing new in the gourmand world. The truth is, so far, I haven’t found any better banana than Ori Russo’s. P.S.: I recommend trying before investing.
I love it on my skin; it lasts 9 hours projecting strongly for 3. The notes of banana, dulce de leche and whipped cream last the whole time.
I was looking for the banana note and, although it is not unpleasant, it is not what I expected. The sweet opening lasts only 3 minutes and then it stays close to the skin. Upon drying it smells of milk biscuits. Nothing new, but good. So far nothing surpasses Ori Russo Banana Splits. Try it before spending money.
I gifted this to my girlfriend as it is exquisite. It smells of banana cake with a hint of chocolate, perfect for cold weather; in the heat it can become cloying. It lasts around 7 hours but is very linear, remaining the same from start to finish. An 8.5, definitely worth it.
I tried the pistachio one and this is the only one that kept smelling on me until tomorrow. It smells of milk with banana. If you apply too much it can be overwhelming, but very delicious.
For the first few minutes, it smells of potent banana, then it fades and the dulce de leche and cake notes become more apparent. It’s muuuy delicious, although it doesn’t last as long as its sibling Eclaire; it sits close to the skin within minutes. But if it’s very, very delicious.
Although I adore the other Eclaires, this Banoffi does not suit me; the scent gives me a slight headache. It smells of banana chewy sweets. A pity, as many people enjoy it.
I gifted this to my girlfriend because I found it exquisite. Due to its extremely sweet scent, it’s clearly for autumn/winter in cold climates; in heat, it can be unpleasant. The smell makes you imagine a banana cake; you can definitely detect chocolate, though not too intense. The longevity is brilliant, around seven hours. Be careful with sprays as it can become cloying. I’m not giving it a 10 because I feel it’s very linear, smelling the same from start to finish, but it’s a solid 8.5. Worth having in your collection.
At first it smells of potent banana, then it fades and you notice the dulce de leche and sponge cake. It is muuuy delicious, although it does not last as long as Eclaire, staying close to the skin. But yes, very delicious.
How delicious! At the start it is sour banana, then it blends with vanilla and upon drying it smells of musk with biscuits.
At first it smells of roasted peanuts, then of oatmeal with milk and warm mashed banana, just like the breakfast I used to get as a child.
Smells like Legendario rum. It’s fun, but it’s not something that represents me.
It carries many notes I love, but frankly, to me it only smells of banana and sugar. All the eclairs smell super similar but with a distinctive touch. It lasts very little.
Smells very good; at first it smells of banana sweets, here comes the problem: after a few minutes I get a slight vomit smell, I don’t know if I’m the only one. Otherwise, it’s fine, lasting about three to four hours.
I don’t know why no one has mentioned it, but this perfume smells exactly like the Garnier banana hair mask. That said, it lasts a long time.
What a disappointment. It smells of banana for only a few seconds, followed by an alcoholic vanilla note straight from the spray. The projection is immense and it lasts around eight hours on the skin; we tested it with three people at home and the experience was identical. If you are looking for a true banana scent in this perfume, you will be greatly let down, as the vanilla and the rest of the ingredients (excluding the banana) are the real stars.
I tried it in-store today: at first it’s like a banana chew and very artificial, but as it dries down I loved it, the vanilla appears and it’s like flambéed bananas. It lasted up to seven hours on my skin, and after ten, the vanilla is still faintly noticeable.
What a disappointment: the banana scent was only felt for a few seconds alongside an alcoholic vanilla, just upon spraying. It projects well and lasts about eight hours on skin; three people tested it and it’s the same. If you’re looking for a banana scent, you’ll be greatly disappointed, as the vanilla and the rest of the ingredients (apart from the banana) are the stars.
I agree it smells identical to the Garnier banana hair mask, and it doesn’t bother me at all. It smells divine; it’s one of the few perfumes I’ve praised the most.
What a lovely perfume! At first, you literally detect the banana with dulce de leche, then it turns into a sweet banana and vanilla dessert, though on my skin I sense a slightly woody touch. I found it delicious and very original; I don’t know of another where the banana note feels like this.
Mmm, a sigh of banana, then it turns into popcorn with caramel, very Banana Bliss… try it before buying!
What a lovely perfume!! Straight out, you can literally feel the banana with dulce de leche, then it moves to a banana and vanilla dessert, although on my skin I sense it a bit more woody. I found it delicious and very original; I don’t know of another where the banana feels like this.
Bought it blindly because people said it smelled like my favourite Garnier banana hair mask. What a disappointment; for me, there’s not a shred of resemblance. Besides, it reminds me of cheap, nasty perfumes. It does smell of banana, but a cheap, synthetic one, like a fatal mix of sweet Arab perfumes. Such a pity.
