“Simple, generous perfumes that help us discover secret worlds”. This is the best definition we could give to Dalia Izem’s creations. For her, the idea of sharing is key. She has lived in five countries and speaks five different languages fluently. She describes herself as a “cultural chameleon”, and sees perfume as a way to reconnect with others. Sharing also includes the pleasures of food. Always on the lookout for new creations from innovative chefs, Dalia often draws inspiration from gastronomy, considering food a “universal language”. This passion for food goes back to her childhood, derived from the sun-soaked dishes of her Algerian and Syrian grandmothers, which explains her ability to refine such comforting and delicious notes. Thus, Dalia has taken this idea of sharing and applied it to the emotions that perfumes can evoke. She feels immense pleasure when someone wears one of her creations, and above all she loves working with musk, which contains molecules with a magical quality reminiscent of skin, making it feel like a “fragrant embrace”.
