Fragrance Du Bois has added KAAZE Pistache to its collection: a unisex scent rooted in the Oriental Vanilla olfactory family. It launched in 2026 and was created by perfumer Dalia Izem.
Named after its main ingredient, the fragrance opens with pistachio, caramel and hibiscus, offering an immediate contrast between nutty sweetness and bright floral accents.
The opening of KAAZE Pistache is unmistakably gourmand: pistachio and caramel form a cosy, sweet duo, while hibiscus lifts the blend with a barely-there floral touch.
In the middle, coffee, jasmine and coconut take over. Coffee adds a roasted edge that stops the perfume from feeling too cloying, jasmine contributes an elegant white-floral note, and coconut gives the composition a smooth, milky feel.
The base is where the Oriental character comes to the fore: vanilla pod, vanilla, musk, cream and puff pastry create a warm, powdery and comforting drydown. It feels plush, intimate and softly sweet, with no sharp edges.
Dalia Izem has woven together sweet, caramel-like, vanillic and musky accords, supported by woody and coffee nuances. The fragrance manages to be both indulgent and refined, making it suitable for a range of occasions.
