  • The notes don’t add up, as is normal with Zara, but upon trying it, I knew it reminded me of something. When I got home and picked up my bottle of Cairo by Penhaligon’s… yes, obviously. It obviously lacks the full character in the opening, but the dry-down is practically the same. I’m going to buy three or four bottles; at this price, it’s a brilliant dupe to wear my favourite perfume every day. I love Zara.

  • The notes have nothing to do with each other, as usually happens with Zara perfumes, but upon trying it, it reminded me of something, and when I picked up my Cairo by Penhaligon’s at home, of course it did! Obviously, it lacks the full character in the opening, but the dry-down is practically identical. I’m going to buy three or four bottles; at this price, it’s a brutal dupe to wear my favourite perfume every day. I love Zara.

  • Every skin is a world, and mine is complicated, but it behaved brilliantly and the longevity convinced me. It’s a gem (in my opinion), although I don’t recommend it blindly because it’s very unisex.

A finer leather, even the aroma sounds a bit ‘irony’ to me, though it has no such notes, and no, it has nothing to do with the name. I didn’t notice the other declared notes. Still, it could be an interesting option.

  • I absolutely love this perfume. It’s super original, perfect if you want to move away from gourmands or intense florals. The longevity is top-notch, lasting between eight and ten hours. The scent isn’t overpowering and it’s perfectly suitable for the office. Zara discontinued it, which made me heartbroken to throw away my bottle, but they’ve brought it back under a new name: ‘Red Sun Dunes’. Be warned, it’s not ‘Sunrise on the Red Sand Dunes’; that smells completely different. I don’t understand why they change the name if it’s identical and give it something so similar to their best-seller. But anyway, the important thing is we can get it again, although I prefer the old bottle and the spray mechanism even less.

  • I adore this perfume. I find it very original, ideal if you want to get away from gourmands or hyper-florals. The longevity is excellent, lasting between eight and ten hours. The scent isn’t overwhelming and can be worn comfortably in the office. Zara discontinued it and I was very sad to waste my bottle, but they’ve brought it back under a new name: ‘Red Sun Dunes’. Mind you, I’m not saying it’s ‘Sunrise on the Red Sand Dunes’; that goes in a totally different direction. The truth is, I don’t understand why they change the name when they bring it back (they are exactly the same) and give it a name so similar to one of their most famous perfumes. But anyway, the important thing is we can get it again, although I like the bottle less and the spray even less.
