  I tried it at L’Occitane and almost bought it, but then I remembered I’d sold the Marc Jacobs Perfect because I never used it. At 600 pesos for 50ml, I nearly took it home. I’m surprised no one notices it smells exactly like the Perfect: white almonds, white flowers, a fruity and green touch. Here it’s May Flower, there it’s Rhubarb. It smells like a lovely body lotion, delicious on skin. I detected plenty of soft almond and fresh flowers; I didn’t sense the pear, but rather the woody base. It’s creamier than milky. It’s one of my favourites from L’Occitane, alongside their iconic rose. It has that musky base of the Perfect, almost too synthetic and what drove me mad before, but given the bottle you get, it’s exactly what you need to feel gorgeous and fresh. Longevity on skin is minimal, three hours at most, but on clothes it lasts double. It’s a beautiful scent. Oh dear, I already feel tempted to buy it again.
