  Noir is one of my favourites from the Ciel perfumes (my absolute favourite is Nuit). It’s intense, sweet, and dark. The opening is dense and sharp at first, but settles down after about 15 minutes. It’s not very masculine, but it’s one of my favourite unisex scents. It lasts about 5 hours on the skin and fixes well to clothes. The sillage is low but appropriate for the price. The only negative is that the sprayer is terrible; I’ve had the perfume for four months and now it’s jammed, requiring manual unclogging. Nevertheless, for the price, I don’t mind. The Ciel range is very affordable, caters to all tastes, is easy to find, and has good performance. I recommend them heaps. By the way, it’s misclassified: it’s from Fragancias Cannon, not Ciel (the French brand). Edit: I finished it after 7 months; it’s a lovely and pleasant perfume, nothing groundbreaking but attractive and sweet. I wouldn’t buy it again as I get a bit tired of the scent, but I don’t rule out trying others from the brand, as they are excellent value.

  Good perfume in terms of value for money. Although it doesn’t have declared lactonic notes, it feels very creamy, probably due to the vanilla, which isn’t particularly sweet. It’s long-lasting with a moderate sillage, ideal for winter or evening wear. I wouldn’t recommend it for hot days as it can feel heavy. Unlike other budget options in this line, there’s no harsh alcohol blast upon spraying. It’s sweet, elegant, and has good body. Worth a try.

  I love this perfume and it has excellent value for money. It comes out more at night and is my favourite of the Ciel range (I want to try the Nuit, which they say is the best). I like it because it’s quite strong and woody, although its longevity is moderate. The best thing is that they are very affordable and easy to find. It’s a proper treat.

  IMPORTANT: This perfume is not from Ciel Parfums; it’s from Cannon Argentina. That said, my opinion is that it’s extremely sweet and hard to handle if you prefer fresh or floral scents. I’m not sure if it’s similar to or a dupe of a designer brand. The good thing about this line is that they always have testers available.

  It’s quite a blackcurrant fragrance, sweet but not cloying, nocturnal, powerful, and strong. It’s made for a woman with character. Basically, it’s a blackcurrant, vanilla-infused scent with a floral touch.

  A friend uses this and it reminds me very much of Paco Rabanne’s Black XS, especially due to the vanilla base blended with iris and red fruits.

  I bought this for daily wear, but the name isn’t misleading: it’s a night perfume. It’s perfect for going out dancing or to dinner. Just be aware that on my skin it doesn’t last long, only about 2 or 3 hours. From Ciel, this is the best there is; I always get compliments when I wear it. If you’re looking for something sweet, this isn’t for you.
