Omnia Paraiba by Bvlgari is a fruity floral fragrance for women. Launched in 2015, this olfactive composition was created by perfumer Alberto Morillas. In this perfume, I detect above all a tropical vibe, where the passion fruit and fruit of the passion stand out over a woody base. There’s also a fresh citrus touch, nothing brash. It’s very cheerful and revitalising, with moderate to high longevity and a moderate trail.
It’s a cheerful explosion of tropical fruits. It’s not elegant, fresh or delicate; it’s warm, explosive, lively and exotic. To my taste, it’s too fruity and doesn’t suit my personality or wardrobe; but it could be a pleasant option for those who love tropical fragrances that smell like little fruits. On my skin, I don’t notice the citrus touch supposedly meant to refresh, but perhaps on skins with a different pH it might be more noticeable.
It’s a unique perfume; I haven’t encountered another like it. It smells exquisite of guanabana, but in reality it’s passion fruit. It’s fresh, cheerful and tropical, I’d say Latin. Just perceiving it fills me with joy in the mornings. Many people have liked it and ask me about it often. Now it’s one of my favourites; I’ll buy it again. I love it!
It’s fresh, but to me it smells like freshly cut grass and window cleaner. I tested it on blotting paper and that’s all: fresh yes, but attractive? Not at all, not a hint of tropical fruit, unless these fruits smell like cleaner. Totally disappointed.
The Amazonian breezes turn into music and linger in the memory. Omnia Paraiba is simple yet complex. From the first moment, the passion fruit is the star, but it doesn’t stop there. What I enjoy most is feeling that fruit over a sober woody base with touches of dark chocolate – isn’t that elegant? Perhaps not directly. It’s not that intense, overwhelming fruity floral, which allows it to be worn at any age and in any setting. Over time, it reveals itself as a great fragrance, vibrant, with the fruit and flower of passion over a serious base of vetiver and cocoa pod. In no case is it cloying or excessively fruity.
It smells like the bronzer I used to have, so it’s super beachy and summery. Although Maui Fantasy is similar, this has more flowers and less coconut. I like it; it’s ideal for holidays and relaxed settings, like a happy hour with colourful cocktails and white sand – my imagination runs wild with this aroma!
After much hassle opening the 5ml bottle, this Bvlgari finally reveals its scent. Upon smelling it, a Colombian cumbia song springs to mind: Playa, Brisa y Mar. It’s a soft, vaporous opening, potent like a splash, with a cocktail of passion fruit and bitter orange; there’s also a creamy tone, like coconut sunscreen, to balance the acidity. Half an hour in, delicate floral notes emerge as the initial ones fade. Omnia Paraiba is very youthful and summery, made for heat. It smells rich, clean and flirtatious; it delivers, but doesn’t enchant. Fragrance: 8/10 Longevity: 5/10 Projection: 6/10 Versatility: 8/10
It’s different; the fruity notes come through but fade, and on my skin there’s anise which I don’t dislike, though it’s not my favourite.
This scent is unique; it transports you to the beach or the most beautiful place in the world. I adore the passion fruit and it smells incredibly refined, like a luxury fragrance. The only thing it lacks is a bit more longevity on the skin, but that’s the only drawback to this wonder.
The passion fruit note drowns out the others and doesn’t allow me to perceive them; it doesn’t seem like a special perfume. It’s usually one of those for daily wear. I owned it and preferred to gift it (I’m not a fan of passion fruit notes).
Super fruity! The passion fruit is front and centre – it’s the ultimate summer scent!
A beautiful colour, an exotic name, promises of Latin paradises… Starting with the bottle, the Omnia line continues with its two infinity rings, this time dressed in aquamarine. I’m not too keen on the spray as it’s more of a ‘squirt’ than a proper diffuser. Moving on to the scent: fruity beginnings with a floral dance are delicious. For me, it’s the scent of the jungle after a storm, a fragrance that screams freedom. It’s refreshing and sweet at the same time, very well balanced, which I consider a great success. The truth is, it’s a small pleasure to atomise it after a cold shower. However, this love story isn’t all rosy… Its evolution seems marked by flash; in 2-3 hours, it has disappeared. I find it disappointing that something so good is so ephemeral. Okay, it’s an eau de toilette, but its trail isn’t good either; it stays close to the skin from the very start. This is more frustrating because it’s not priced economically enough to justify reapplying as needed (several times a day if you really want to feel it). (I will edit this once I’ve tried it above 30°C, as part of me expects it to shine there). More than a true love story, it’s a rushed courtship. As a personal note: my flagship has always been Aqua di Gioia, and despite not sharing notes, they share that concept of ‘wild, happy freedom’.
Review of an EDT vial. I’ve used it three times and just now popped the cap and gave it the last little squirt. It’s like a refreshing, citrusy, fruity cologne with a nice dry, acidic twist. The passion fruit dominates and is also present in the heart; the bitter orange is very subtle and delicate, looking very pretty but lasting less. The flowers are very faint for me; just two days ago I was smelling a passion flower essential oil at a chemist’s and can’t find that scent anywhere in this cologne, whereas I do perceive an echo of white flowers, I don’t know. The vetiver is great as a counterpoint and comes into play quickly; I think I love vetiver in small doses. Then, at the very end, there’s a rather generic creamy afterglow. For me, with four or six sprays, it lasts two or three hours, and then maybe another hour of dry-down pressing my nose against the skin. I see it as something you need to apply generously or reapply often if you want to notice it. It’s a delicious, very fine cologne and I certainly liked it as I have a weakness for tropical scents and like using refreshing colognes in summer. However, I won’t buy it unless I see it on a good deal one day, because for its price, the longevity and projection are very short, which takes points off. Besides, I already have others for this summer. I recommend it if you want a delicious, refreshing fragrance for summer and don’t mind paying a bit more.
I owned it and gave it away. I let myself be swayed by the bottle’s colour, the name Paraíba, and the promise of teleportation to an exotic paradise, which aligns with what I like about tropical scents in summer. In reality, I just smell passion fruit, slightly watery and delicate. I’ve realised that this fruit works best when combined with other notes, not dominating everything. It lasts nothing and projects nothing. Buying it when there are so many options on the market is throwing money away.
I tried it a few days ago and the smell rather put me off. It seems artificial with an excess of passion fruit that prevents the other notes from coming through.
Omnia Paraíba… I love you for your simplicity, because you don’t aim to be more than what your notes declare… you are tropicalistically beautiful. No one will take your place in my summer afternoons… you have definitely won my heart.
The Omnia collection by Bvlgari is very pleasant, and Paraíba doesn’t fall behind. Although I’m not a huge fan of fruity scents, this one is fun and optimistic. It’s well-constructed, with that natural, rich touch, like homemade fruit yoghurt. Sometimes I get a whiff of the omnipresent Light Blue, but where Light Blue has lemons, Paraíba gets drunk on passion fruit cake. For me, it’s a luminous, uncomplicated perfume with zero mystery.
An exotic and fun blend. The bottle contains little product, as with the whole line; it’s aesthetic but tricky to hold. While it’s not easy to wear daily, vetiver is hard to reconcile in women’s perfumes. However, it’s a must-have for a party; it lifts the mood and sets the scene. I feel it’s unisex.
Very fresh and clean; I wear it after showering to go to work in the morning. It’s ideal for summer, the beach, or hot days. The scent is energising, especially the passion fruit, and lasts on my skin for about 4-6 hours. The bottle is small, perfect for keeping in a handbag or backpack.
What a delight! Does anyone else smell freshly cut pine in this? I don’t know why my nose picks it up, but I absolutely love it.
Excellent perfume. Versatile and original. Ultra feminine and sexy. I had it and I would have it again. The passion fruit gives it a super original fruity tropical touch, nothing cloying. Fresh but sexy, it can be worn at night perfectly, especially in summer or spring. In its development it’s quite linear, moderate trail. Moderate longevity. Blind buy.
Fortunately, I bought it in a miniatures set along with its siblings Crystalline and Coral; all three pleased me, they are rich, fresh and soft, far too much for my need for intense scents. The big problem is that their trail is very light and their longevity an hour; for me, it’s not worth buying them in large format if you have to reapply so frequently. If it’s the three, very pleasant and good for gifting or blind buying for their scents and because on other skins they may last better. Unfortunately, for me, even in this size I don’t think I’ll buy them again…
At first, there’s a horrible plastic smell. But it goes away very quickly and leaves a citrus with passion fruit. Very rich summer scent. That passion fruit note is in perfumes as expensive as Dahab Kajal. Although El Segundo is sweeter than this.
My favourite, without a doubt.. it was the best blind buy I almost made. It lasts a lot; simply smelling it puts me in a good mood. Although I feel it’s more for hot climates, I love it so much that I would use it every day (I don’t, so as not to use it up). I think it’s quite feminine and delicate, but it could easily pass as unisex. The orange notes feel absolutely delicious. Fresh, joyful, clean.. I love it!
I’m sorry, it’s fruity, very fresh, even a bit aquatic, and in this it reminds me of Omnia Crystalline; despite not sharing a single note, I do perceive a little family air. It’s pleasant to me, especially on hot days, refreshing when applied. On my skin, the cocoa note is completely absent. The bad thing is that its trail and longevity are minimal: an hour and it’s gone. From this line, I prefer Crystalline, Coral, and the original Omnia. Add: after a year of use, I add that the longevity did improve; I perceive it for 8-10 hours, subtly, without a big trail but it’s there when I move or turn my neck. Also, I could already notice the cocoa note. It’s a pleasant perfume.
I have no words other than SUPREME IN EVERY WAY!!!!! My new favourite, my signature. Without a doubt, it’s super citrusy; the bitter orange is the big star. It’s also nicely woody. What caught my attention is that it’s ALMOST IDENTICAL to the classic Issey Miyaki for men, the same DNA, making it perfectly unisex. I LOVE THIS WITH ALL MY HEART!!!! I would buy it again and again and again!!!!
This perfume is an absolute yes. I have it and I love it; it transports me to summer, the beach, and joy. Citrus and fruity, it’s all that’s right. Fresh and long-lasting.
Amoooo amooooooooo😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
This is all there is to the good in a perfume, truly perfect. I’m a fan of Bvlgari; this one, like Omnia Coral, was a gift from my mother. It smells of summer, but not of sand, rather of a luxury resort or cruise: elegant beach. Ideal for tropical countries where it’s always hot and you want to smell free yet chic. I love it so much that I try not to use it up because I can’t find it in stores anymore.
What a freshness and joy! That’s how I remember it when I tried it for the second time. On my skin, it lasts barely a breath.
Total passion fruit with some little flowers; I would have liked the cocoa to be more noticeable. Anyway, it’s very good for spring and summer.
Very rich. Its scent transports you to a paradisiacal beach. It opens with an edible passion fruit. It’s for personal enjoyment. Clean. It’s a pity the duration is very poor. But it’s so rich it’s worth every penny. It dries down sweet and musky. A style like Erba Gold. Very rich.
A scent you could find in a shampoo and that’s it. Poor duration, same trail. And then they don’t want the Omnia line to have a bad reputation for being bad perfumes…
This perfume is the love of my life; on my skin it lasted 5 hours and everyone asked about it. It’s a pity that I can’t find it in Chile anymore since 3 years ago and if it arrives, it’s sold at a price that doesn’t do it justice, without diminishing this beautiful perfume for dark-skinned beauties. A week ago I tried the Versace Turquoise and it’s 85% similar on my skin, for $92, it’s not worth it. OMNIA PARAÍBA IS THE BEST AND I HAD THEM ALL, PERFUME MADE FOR ME. Does anyone know how to send perfumes to Chile to buy them?
Fresh with a light woody touch that gives it a more elegant air than a simple summer fragrance. I noticed the passion fruit the first few times I used it, but afterwards my nose couldn’t detect it. Nothing new if I say it doesn’t have much projection, however, I realised it lasts longer on clothes and, with the wind, sends out little bursts of scent. Even at night I could smell it on my skin.
I came across it because a cousin told me about it and I fell in love when I saw the colour of the bottle. I bought the 30ml version online and the bottle isn’t the same as in the photo; it’s a very adorable oval bottle, almost pointed, with a silver cap. It’s beautiful and the quality of the materials is noticeable. The scent didn’t blow me away, but I have an affection for it as it remains pleasant: between musky with something resembling coconut, a refined coconut but nothing pretentious, and tropical yet with a sophisticated touch, as someone said: ‘it’s not a beach tropical’ but a cruise ship or similar place, where elegance and tropical vibes mix. On me, it smells a bit like soaps or talcum powders I remember from my childhood at my grandmother’s house. It’s not the opulent iris musk, but a subtle musk caused by the passion fruit flowers and the softness of the cocoa pod. I wouldn’t buy it again but it’s beautiful to have it in my collection. The one I want is the Amethyste.
I love it! The passion fruit scent is sweet and sour at the same time. It makes me feel clean as soon as I apply it. Some people have asked me what perfume I’m wearing. It’s a pity it only lasts a few hours and needs reapplying.
I bought it a couple of years ago when it was already discontinued and it was hard to find, but I wanted it so much. I like it enormously; it definitely reminds me of summer. Personally, I don’t like that time of year, but this fragrance brings back memories of a pleasant summer where I was eager to enjoy life and experience new things. The only thing I must say is that I don’t smell the passion fruit as I’ve read; it’s definitely there because it’s not a typical citrus like lemon or orange, it has that special tropical touch. But it’s not the most noticeable note, which disappointed me a little, as I love passion fruit. Would I buy it again? Definitely, but unfortunately, it can’t be found anywhere. The bottle I have I barely use to remember its scent, as I don’t want it to run out.
I love it. I don’t know how many bottles I’ve gone through. I can’t understand why they discontinue these wonders, truly. It smells like luxurious summer, hahaha. It doesn’t last very long on my skin, although it does last longer on clothes.
I ordered this based on the reviews and it smells wonderful at first – tropical and fruity – but then it leaves a sweaty scent that I find disgusting. It might be the vetiver, but it just doesn’t work on my skin. It’s a shame because the opening is exquisite. It doesn’t last long or leave a trail, so I won’t be buying it again and in fact, I’m going to sell it.
