  I had the VS Pear cologne in the early 2000s, or something like that; I don’t recall the ‘glace’ part (maybe it was on the bottle, but I’m not sure). I loved it. When I wear Donna Karan’s Be Delicious, it reminds me of this cologne. (Perhaps they don’t resemble each other at all, but it gives me the feeling of the same memory)

  I had VS’s pear cologne back in the early 2000s; I’m not entirely sure if it said ‘glace’ on the bottle, but I loved it. When I wear Donna Karán’s Be Delicious now, it brings me back to that scent. Perhaps they aren’t similar at all, but it evokes the same cherished memory.

  I’ve never reviewed a fragrance before, and this is by far the worst I’ve smelled from VS so far, at least the old version. I owned it back in 2010 and still have the memory: it smells ridiculously synthetic, like a rotten pear. What a horror. I hope if it’s still around, they’ve reformulated it to improve things.

  I don’t know why I haven’t reviewed this here before; it’s the worst smell I’ve encountered from VS so far, at least the old version. I had it around 2010 and still remember the scent; it borders on ridiculous in how synthetic it feels, like completely rancid pear. Oh no, a horror. I hope if this fragrance still exists, they’ve reformulated it for the better.

  I’ve used the current version of Pear Glace, which features cucumber, pear, and melon. It’s noticeable, with cucumber predominating, mixed with melon and pear. It smells good and makes you feel fresh and clean, but for me, the cucumber is far too dominant.

  I see there are negative comments and reviews. To me, it’s absolutely delicious because perhaps the pear, chamomile, and aloe notes really stand out on my skin; I detected the different nuances. In the end, the blackcurrant and pear battle it out, fruit against fruit. It’s a matter of pH and personal taste. It suits me wonderfully, lasts for hours in a soft trail, and is perfect for summer; the heat makes it rich. Conversely, in cold times, it doesn’t have much splendour. It’s one of my favourites.

  I have a nostalgic taste for this fragrance. I wear it after some gym showers or to go to sleep. Almost to wear it alone and remember beautiful times.

  It’s a sweet and aquatic pear body splash; the pear predominates along with the chamomile, though synthetically. The pear is very perceptible with the heat and performs better. It’s sweet but not as sweet as other body splashes in the line; on my pH it’s quite strong, with a high trail and moderate longevity. In summer it’s unbearable, becoming very cloying; it’s more suited to temperate climates and younger girls. The reformulation has worse performance: the original lasted me 24 hours, while the reformulations last 3 to 5 hours. If you like pear, this is the one to choose; it’s extremely fruity.

  It’s a strong fragrance with an aquatic pear scent and medium sweetness. Its opening isn’t alcoholic, with a moderate trail and approximately 3 hours of longevity. It could be more for summer, suitable for someone aged 18 and above.

  This is a sweet, aquatic pear body splash where the pear takes centre stage and the chamomile feels synthetic. The pear note is very prominent in the heat; it performs best as a sweet scent without being as cloying as other body splashes in the range. On my skin chemistry, it projects strongly with good sillage and moderate longevity. In summer, it becomes unbearable and overly sweet, making it better suited to temperate climates and young women for dates. The reformulation performs worse than the original, which lasted me 24 hours, whereas the new versions only last 3 to 5 hours. If you love pear, this is the one to choose—it is intensely fruity.

  It’s the VS line’s bargain-basement scent that smells most like a bargain. It’s pure pear, pear, and more pear. Yet, for some reason, it hooks me. I think I’m one in a million.

  Horrible. I have it because my former boss gifted it to me and another colleague for our birthdays. What bad luck that I got this one, which is one of the worst in the line, while my colleague received the raspberry, which is the one I actually like. The pear is so overpowering and sticky that it drowns out the other notes. It smells like any cheap supermarket cologne.
