Lychee, rhubarb, bergamot and nutmeg open the composition, leading to a heart of rose, peony, musk and vanilla on a foundation of cashmere wood, cedar, vetiver and incense.
The first impression is fresh, fruity and green. Lychee brings juiciness, rhubarb a sharp brightness, bergamot a citrus sparkle, with nutmeg lending a light, freshly spiced edge.
At the centre, rose and peony take charge. The rose feels sheer and present-day, the peony lighter and more diffuse, while musk blurs the lines and vanilla adds gentle roundness.
The foundation turns woodier and drier. Cashmere wood offers a soft, enveloping quality, cedar provides backbone, and vetiver introduces a dry green earthiness.
Incense traces a smoky, balsamic line through the drydown. With amber and warm spice nuances around it, the sweetness of musk and vanilla stays in check.
