Poiré & Santal Blanc smells like a woody white floral with beachy notes, perhaps from the ylang-ylang, pear and blackcurrant which evoke summer. It opens citrusy with bergamot, lime and pink pepper. Among the white flowers, jasmine really stands out alongside a creamy, sweet sandalwood. The blend of moss, leather and yerba mate gives it a herbal and woody feel, unisex without leaning too far in either direction. It reminds me of Maison Matin’s Bain de Midi but with sandalwood replacing the vanilla. It’s a lovely, easy-to-wear fragrance.
