Smell of freshly washed clothes with extra fabric softener. Throughout the fragrance it maintains that soapy-aldehydic sensation. It’s in the same line as Comme des Garçons’ Marseille, Byredo’s Blanche, Teo Cabanel’s Pure Soap Clean, and Mercadona’s Verissime Touch (the latter is the softest and shortest). In order of preference, Puro Lino is the one I liked the least. Comme des Garçons’ Marseille is my favourite without doubt, because it doesn’t overwhelm so much with the aldehydes, has better performance, and that extra freshness thanks to the citrus and orange blossom, all very well assembled.
Pure dry cleaning. Imagine walking into a dry cleaners and breathing in the vapours of the iron with freshly pressed clothes, with that touch of soap. It’s exactly that. It’s a cheaper and simpler version than Dior’s New Look, but if you like that DNA, it can perfectly substitute it.
Totally agree with the others. It’s a very aldehydic and musky perfume that directly evokes detergent, fabric softener, laundry, and soap. Good performance and reasonable price. Recommended if you like this type of scents.

That smell of Marseille soap. It starts with a very aldehydic and slightly spicy opening, but within a minute evolves into something musky, green, and spiced, very synthetic, reminding you of a Marseille soap bar or a fabric softener. It has decent performance for this type of scent; additionally, if you want to reapply after eight hours, there’s a 10ml bottle included. The projection is moderate to heavy: about three hours strong and noticeable, then moderate until it disappears. As a personal note, the bottle is the worst experience I’ve had; when opening the box it seemed to weep from the cap. The spray mists a lot but doesn’t release product; you have to press hard. In summary: freshly laundered clothes at your disposal.

With Puro Lino I’ve experienced something unprecedented: it works better on clothes than on skin. It smells of clean fabric, fresh, with that soft detergent touch of freshly sun-dried laundry. On skin it feels flat, but on shirts or jumpers it leaves an impeccable effect, as if everything has just been washed. It has no evolution and doesn’t seek to tell a story; forget the citrus notes it claims to have, because to my nose it’s pure cleaning scent, simple and efficient. If you want to keep a scent in the wardrobe to dress cleanly all year round, it’s a great option, but if you’re looking for presence or sensuality on skin, this isn’t it. I recommend trying other things like H24 or MFK 724. Longevity: 7-8 hours. Sillage: 7/10. Originality: 6/10. Quality: 6/10. Value for money: 7/10 (99€/100ml).
