The lilac in Purplelips is very prominent and puts me in a great mood, as if a gentle breeze were embracing me; it’s feminine, elegant and super romantic for me. It’s warm without being overwhelming, ideal for spring, autumn or hot days. It smells a bit like ‘Le roy soleil’ (Dalí), which is my favourite. The notes last the same length but soften over time, not evaporating, thanks to good fixation. It reminds me of ‘Inspiration’ (Lacoste), but this one wins all round.
The lilac scent in Purplelips is very noticeable. It gives me lovely feelings that match my mood, like a gentle breeze; very feminine, elegant and romantic. It’s warm but not overpowering. Ideal for spring, autumn or hot days. It has a touch of ‘Le roy soleil’ (Dalí), which I adore. The notes last, merely softening over time rather than evaporating; it has good longevity. In my opinion, it resembles ‘Inspiration’ (Lacoste), but this one is far superior.
Azuriiita’s review describes it perfectly. I’d just add that for me, it’s more sexy than romantic. Though, thinking about it… why not both?
Azuriiita’s review hits the nail on the head regarding what I feel. Only that for me, it’s more sexy than romantic. Although, thinking about it… why not both at once?
Musty, slightly sweet and fades in two hours. For daily use, nothing spectacular or attention-grabbing. Just another one of the crowd.
It’s a bit spicy, has a sweet touch and fades in two hours. Suitable for everyday wear. Nothing spectacular, certainly not attention-grabbing. Just another one of the crowd.
On my skin, it smells of sweet blackberries and lilacs, but what stands out most is the fruity blackberry note; since I’m not a huge fan of fruit, it’s not really my cup of tea.
On my skin, it smells of sweet blackberries with lilacs, but the fruity blackberry note dominates and I don’t like that fruity side, so it’s not for me 🙁
