Lattafa gives us another marvel at a Zara price. It’s an ode to cardamomo with sweet leather and spicy touches that will delight lovers of this note. The only drawback is the longevity, a bit weaker than usual for Lattafa, lasting around 8 to 10 hours. I was surprised that wearing Qaa’ed on one wrist and Bergamot & Leather Spritz by Zara on the other resulted in the latter having better performance. Very good component quality to achieve a warm, perfect spicy fragrance ideal for fresh days or spring/summer evenings.
Qaa’ed is unisex, though I imagine it tasting more delicious on male skin. It opens with a very perceptible cardamomo before settling into a spiced vanilla with a delicious and pleasant oud. As it dries down, I notice a great similarity to other Lattafa scents. This happens to me with the house: although they’re magnificent, I have no interest in buying more because they all dry down to a very similar DNA. They’re incredibly rich and differ at the start, but ultimately they smell the same, so I prefer to finish what I have before adding more. Its trail is moderate-to-high and lasts over 12 hours. The imitation leather box and hyper-chromed bottle won’t please everyone, but for the price, it’s worth mentioning. Let it serve as an example to brands that offer less for much more money. Scent 7.5/10, Longevity 10/10, Sillage 9/10, Value/Quality 10/10, Versatility 6/10, Packaging 7/10. Would I buy again? Yes.
I had doubts about the oud as it can be overpowering in some Oriental houses, but here it’s not the star. It belongs to the amber and spicy family, but it’s very harmonious. Slightly caramelised vanilla dominates, bordering on gourmand, accompanied by soft leather like a fine jacket and flashes of cardamomo at the start. I also notice a smoky touch as it dries down. It smells good on the skin, but in the air it leaves a heady trail. It reminded me of Ferrari Leather Essence, but with the vanilla and amber aspects more developed.
A work of art in a bottle. Super sensual, elegant, and mature; if you like oud, you’ll love it. It works well in all seasons, but its true value lies in the evening or in fresh, cold climates. Highly recommended.
Rich smelling, Perfumon. If you’re a fan of Sauvage, Allures, or Invictus, forget it, this isn’t for you. The oud is merely a background note, but as an Arabic perfume, it smells different from the usual men’s scents, making it a great purchase for me. The presentation is another level: how do Arabic houses do this? Designer brands certainly don’t present them like this. PS: I own Nerotic by Laboratorio Olfattivo and they’re very similar, but this one is much cheaper.
Lattafa has caught me off guard with their fragrances (I already own Qaa’ed and Ameer Al Oudh Intense Oud). For me, Qaa’ed is seductive, sweet, and full of personality; the vanilla, oud, and leather really stand out. They last around 12 hours and project well. It’s very cheap, a proper bargain. It suits cold, humid days best.
Smells fantastic, with soft cinnamon and cardamomo notes plus a hint of saffron. I don’t usually review perfumes, but in my opinion, it smells very similar to Mancera’s Red Tobacco at first, though much softer.
Lattafa Qaa’ed is mysterious and tempting, with a predominant amber scent and soft leather, along with herbs like hyssop and a vanilla note at the end that proves to be the highlight of a truly pleasant fragrance. To be honest, it’s a well-composed perfume, although it sits among the weaker ones (I should add that my tolerance for potent aromas is very high) that include oud in this brand, both in longevity and trail, so it might seem a bit light to lovers of this note. However, despite not being dominant, it makes everything more confidential and plays with the sensations it offers: luxurious, golden, on velvet, on leather. I agree with @Taurien’s appreciation: in the dry down, a common DNA characteristic of this house appears, more evident if you have or have tried several. The first contact is quite sharp and rough, but as often happens in life, good things take time. Once the top notes have evaporated, a warm, clean, oriental spice potion begins to shine. To my taste, I prefer the vanilla and leather of Ferrari Leather Essence, but this Lattafa is a good option for those taking their first steps in these directions and offered at an unbeatable price. Thanks, Darkbeat.
I think it’s a good fragrance, warm and very spicy, though I’d say too much; it’s even a bit sharp to the nose, perhaps that’s the part I don’t love. The cinnamon is noticeable, but the saffron and woods take the spotlight away. It lasts well but isn’t a beast mode; around six to seven hours on skin. Scent: 7/10 Longevity: 7/10 Projection: 6/10 Recommended: Yes.
It has a bright, spicy opening; some might say ‘synthetic’ (which is true, as perfumery is entirely synthetic unless it’s a niche brand). It’s luminous, giving way to saffron, leather, and oud, in that order of aromatic predominance. It’s almost at the limit of being a typical oriental vibe, yet it lacks the typical sweetness found in current designer perfumery; instead, it’s a ‘bright spice without sugar’. The oud isn’t dominant in the composition but rather sits in the middle, blended with the other notes. Suitable for nocturnal or formal daytime wear, best for autumn and winter. Good skin fixation, which is already common in Lattafa (it passes the bed test: nine hours, applied at midnight, still smelling when waking up in the morning). It’s from Lattafa’s budget line, and for the price, it’s hard to find something similar in the Western perfumery segment. If it’s inspired by another creation, I can’t confirm that. I recommend it, just like its very close cousin, Qaa’ed Al Shabaab. Well done, Lattafa, keep adding points.
To my nose, it feels like a masculine perfume, warm and spicy, with a tremendous character. On my skin, it feels like a touch of woody incense, with tremendous longevity and incredible projection. The packaging is beautiful and looks luxurious. However, I wouldn’t buy it again; I found it too heavy for me.
This perfume smells of cinnamon, wood, incense, vanilla, and sandalwood. But the overall effect is like walking past an Egyptian shop. I don’t know why, but it smells of papyrus, paper, a heap of dusty old notebooks you’ve just pulled from the wardrobe.
It’s an exquisite treat. A perfume that doesn’t go unnoticed. A very good oud and leather… although it does feel a bit sweetly spiced. Nothing cloying; you can wear it anytime and all day. It suits everyone, but it leans slightly towards men.
Delicious! Spicy, powdery, and slightly sweet, with good performance. Does anyone else think it reminds them of Asaad from this same house?
At first, my nose couldn’t handle it for wearing to please others; I always wait until I’m familiar with a fragrance before using it before bed. This wasn’t the exception, and I’m not sure if it’s because I’ve had it for six months and it has mellowed, but it’s truly creamy and can be worn on an outdoor evening date; people will definitely want to eat you up. Note: test it before buying, but as it’s so affordable, you can take the risk.
Lattafa Qaa’ed is a gem in the world of fragrances. It smells sweet and vanilla-rich, with deep notes of leather, amber, a touch of oud, and saffron. Unlike others like Oud for Greatness, it has a unique style. It’s elegant and perfect for special occasions. Given its scent and longevity, it offers excellent value for money; I recommend buying it.
I gifted this to my husband as I wanted something sweet yet masculine, the complete opposite of those blue perfumes that smell like deodorant. It’s super intense and spicy, with cinnamon and vanilla taking the lead. The longevity is epic; it starts with strong projection before settling down. It’s striking, perfect for those who don’t want to go unnoticed. The bottle and packaging are gorgeous, and the price is more than convenient.
I tested Qaa’ed and can assure you that the dry-down is identical to Issey Miyake L’Essence du Parfum. Not so much in the opening, which starts with the spicy notes and cardamom, but after a few minutes it’s very similar. Just one application was enough to have the fragrance on my skin for hours. For quality and price, it’s a tremendous perfume.
This fragrance is superb. Undoubtedly a success in the purchase. Just be careful with the sprays as it can be a bomb. In my experience. Regards!
Not recommended for a blind buy; the cinnamon scent is quite pronounced, but the fragrance’s longevity is good.
Excellent purchase; it’s quite sweet and masculine, undoubtedly led by vanilla and wood. After some time, leather and amber notes emerge, giving an incredible olfactory sensation. Just a couple of sprays last a very long time on the skin, without doubt one of my favourites.
Spices, leather, woods and an amber, incensed touch is the concise definition. Excellent value for money. Suitable for cold days and nights. Outstanding longevity and good projection… seven and a half hours respectively. Do not buy blind. Rating: 7.8/10.
It’s purely dry, vanilla-scented wood, literally, it smells only of that. I see it more as something to wear when there’s high humidity, as the fragrance gives off that sensation, like dry wood. It’s a good scent, unusual, I recommend it.
Opens with spices, then dries down to be very sweet and warm, with vanilla and wood dominating, while incense and leather linger in the base. It’s a good scent, a fine fragrance, suitable for day and night, for going out but not for daily wear; avoid wearing it in the heat. I recommend testing it on skin first; don’t buy blind, but for the price, you can take a risk. Don’t apply more than four sprays, especially if you’re sensitive; it projects well for about an hour and a half but doesn’t last more than six hours on skin, though perhaps macerating it for months will improve it.
I barely tested it and it reminded me of Supremacy Incense, though much more pleasant. I’ll let it rest for a few months to see if it improves performance because, initially, it seemed like the shadow of what is claimed regarding its longevity and projection.
Ideal for Christmas, or perhaps in colder climates. Smells like rompope with a touch of freshly cut wood and spices. Very rich for evening wear or cold weather, suitable for someone over 20, perfect for a date or gatherings. Simply delighted.
Cinnamon, sweet, leather and spices… it projects well but is intense, pure Arabic scent. The bottle and box look interesting but aren’t up to scratch. The fragrance is tricky; it pleased the person I gifted it to, but for me it smells like tripe in sauce, haha, a bit of a mango rice disaster, although it does smell good.
What a wonder, please. A warm, spiced perfume with a cinnamon and a vanilla base that I love. Ten-hour longevity and three-hour projection. A great discovery.
It was one of my first Arabic perfumes; the truth is, I liked it a lot at first, but as time passes, it becomes very heavy and bothers you too much. The truth is, for a specific occasion in an open place, it’s very good, but if not, you’ll suffocate people.
Bought it blindly and I was not mistaken at all. Qaa’ed is one of those perfumes where you barely need to spray it; you know it will accompany you with presence throughout the day. It’s an elegant, masculine perfume with character, ideal for standing out discreetly, without exaggerating, but leaving a mark. It has a warm and spiced aroma, with a woody touch that gives it that firmness you feel with every step. It’s perfect for autumn and winter, as it maintains an aroma that is noticeable at gatherings, at work, or on a night out. In my experience, the longevity is around six hours, leaving a sober trail that doesn’t invade. It’s a perfume that generates compliments, but above all, it makes you feel good about yourself. This perfume combines class, presence, and an elegant masculine scent without breaking the budget.
Tremendous vanilla, refined and elegant. Emerges from the start between saffron and cedar, also very fine and balanced. Not cloying but long-lasting and projecting a lot. A great perfume, without a doubt. A top 10 winter scent in any collection if you like oriental fragrances.
This is extremely expensive for the rubbish they are selling you. It’s a perfume you could easily use if you’re over 80 and it’s winter. They tell you it’s a sweet leather, but it’s a lie; it’s sour leather, too strong, with an old smell. I’d say it even smells like rancid mustard. The worst purchase I’ve ever made!!!
Analia Correte, this is a perfume for people looking for something distinct and refined, not those rehashed scents everywhere. Also, are you crazy? Clearly, it’s not a perfume for women.
It’s a WOODY perfume, very masculine, spiced, animalic, with a slight suede base. It’s not sweet, not for amateurs who are just starting out or teenagers; the vanilla at the base is only there to round off the scent, making it more approachable. It’s not a difficult OUD; on the contrary, it’s very usable and mature, blending a bit with the creaminess of the sandalwood. For me, it has become an addictive perfume. Moderate projection for about two hours, then it stays close to the skin. If you like warm, woody, spiced scents with a masculine profile, plus 30, black shirt, leather jacket, or an office profile that demands formality and respect, it’s a luxury.
Just bought it because of the videos and reviews, and the truth is, this is NOT for women. I love strong perfumes that lean towards the masculine, and this is undoubtedly 100% masculine. However, let me tell you, it’s a spectacular perfume for mature gentlemen… wow. What a scent! The bottle is very beautiful and elegant; I loved it too much. The initial blast didn’t agree with me as it was very strong; the sandalwood and cardamomo at the start are quite sharp, along with the amber. Personally, I don’t detect the cinnamon, perhaps because it’s new and not yet macerated, but after a minute, the magic begins—that leather, cedar scent, ugh, it’s a 10 out of 10. The sandalwood starts to soften considerably… Personally, I’m going to gift this to my father because it’s certainly ideal for him. A handsome, elegant gentleman smelling divine! My mother will be smitten, as the dry-down lowers the aroma significantly and the notes become higher but without losing presence; the vanilla is light and very masculine. Undoubtedly it’s a woody perfume; that’s its style. What I recommend is applying few sprays, at least three to start, as the initial blast might be unpleasant, and we don’t want that, because after a few minutes the perfume transforms into pure luxury and class. But it’s divine if you’re between 40 and 50 years old or older; I recommend it literally. It smells like a millionaire gentleman dressed in black stepping out of a Bugatti in Monaco.
Excellent perfume, price, and quality. I’m over 35, formal, and elegant. No more than five sprays; great longevity and sillage. Beautiful packaging. Do not buy blindly. If you like One Million, Invictus, 212 VIP Black, and that style, this isn’t for you. It’s something serious, elegant, and for occasional use.
Bought it without testing and thought I’d made a mistake, but by the next day I was already wearing it, hoping it would improve with maceration. Now I’m thinking about buying another bottle. Spiced, sweet, enveloping, absolutely delicious. Be careful with the sprays in the evening. Also, use sparingly if you’re wearing it during the day. It’s more of a night fragrance, not for women at all. Wear it well, and please, don’t be a clown using this.
