  Buy blind and you’ll fall in love. It opens citrus, fresh, and spicy, masculine like the 212 Men, but evolves into balsamic and creamy tones, mature yet light. To me it’s masculine, but dry it is totally unisex. Sweet, spiced, with delicate leather. It’s for a gentleman who transforms; the vanilla balances everything. Moderate trail, sexy and delicious. A beauty I already own at home and test on my husband.

  I bought it for the notes and it’s a surprise: unisex with a masculine air due to the sandalwood and cardamom. It took me three weeks to accept it, but now I adore it. It’s dry and potent with cashmere and spices, though I don’t detect the vanilla. Huge and comforting projection, ideal for cold weather or spring nights. It doesn’t smell like anything else in my collection. I’d give it more sweetness, but it’s an 8.5/10.

  I thought I’d love it; it was going to be my perfume of a lifetime, but on the skin it smells like stale coffee and old cigarettes, nothing like the spicy drydown. Sometimes I detect a cloying sweetness, but that burnt scent dominates. Only after 12 hours does it smell as others say. I see it as unisex for temperate or cold climates. Pleasant: 5/10, Interesting: 8/10.

  What madness, how original! A smoky, dense, and creamy sandalwood with a touch of leather and cardamom that captivates you. It’s narcotic, alcoholic, and far from the ordinary; not for everyone, but an absolute gem. I wore it for 12 hours and it remains beautiful on the skin.
