  Avon has few rivals when it comes to releasing such worthy fragrances in this price bracket. It gives me the same impression as when I tried Intimately by Beckham years ago, a scent that conveyed a sense of quality far superior to its cost. Sometimes, if you buy a £100 proposal and feel you’ve thrown your money away, here it’s exactly the opposite. You must give this creation a chance; with just three notes, it projects a soft-to-medium trail (spraying a little more) for several hours, perfect for an outing or evening, highlighting a blend of sweet, woody, and balsamic tones that create a deep yet light and bright sensation. Over time, resinous notes emerge that remain present throughout the entire lifespan of the bottle; in my case, about 5 hours, which is enough to surprise. Recommended for anyone without fear or snobbery towards humble proposals, who want something special without being fooled by sky-high prices that don’t match the quality, but who demand what a perfume should: to make you smell good.

  I own niche oud fragrances and designer scents, and I recognise that at this price point, what comes out of Avon is a perfume that is more than worthy.

  I love it… The synthetic citrus opening lasts no more than half an hour, but then it settles into an easy-to-wear and long-lasting composition (around 6-7 hours max). It’s one of those scents that, when you walk down the street, people say ‘classic oud and amber’. Nothing complicated, just reliable. 7/10 overall, but for the price, it’s a 9/10. Ideal as a signature scent.
