Pacific Lime is a sweet, refreshing, fruity, cheerful and summery cologne. It’s citrusy yet sweet, not acidic. The longevity is short on skin, but applying it to clothes improves it significantly and it smells so good that every minute I get to enjoy it is worth it. It’s perfect for a hot day when you’ll be outdoors in shorts and sandals. It also looks perfect for the beach.
In short: from start to finish, it’s just lemon with a touch of coconut, nothing else. It smells nice, without pretensions or exaggerations. It lasts a maximum of two hours on skin. Ideal for putting on right after a shower to feel fresh. Would I recommend it? No, I don’t think it’s worth the high price, as the scent is very basic for feeling fresh and clean. If you like citrus, you’ll love it; it’s super unisex. What I did notice is that it smells incredibly clean with a real coconut, not synthetic or gourmand. I’d prefer the Chik Chick citrus body splash a thousand times, which lasts six hours or more and costs only 80 pesos. EDIT: On skin it fades quickly, but on clothes it lasts over six hours depending on activity.
An Atelier proposal that has disappointed me a little. I expected something more citrusy and refreshing, or at least cooler. It’s an oversweetened lime, so cloying that it leaves no room for breath. I don’t detect the coconut unless it’s part of that hyper-sweet fruit blend. It seems more synthetic than other scents from the brand. Longevity is average, perhaps a bit less than other Atelier fragrances. Unisex? I see it as more focused on the feminine side. Rating: 6.
Pacific Lime is an Atelier fragrance that, being a citrus-fruit summer perfume, isn’t entirely bad. At first, it reminded me of a Pascual multi-fruit, though I know it’s high-end, I expected more. Over time, this Mexican lime gains strength and bite, just like in Vanille Insensee, and the fragrance becomes very intense. I barely smell the coconut, but it gives that milkshake vibe because it’s milky pulp, not synthetic. Towards the end, in its heart phase, is when I like it most, thanks to the eucalyptus I can detect; it gives me a sensation of a lost paradise among palm trees, and that’s where I would definitely use it. Slightly effervescent, I suppose due to the mint. Its performance is good for a summer perfume; it lasted a long time on skin with two sprays, but used freely on the neck, wrists and chest it smells quite a bit. I think it’s perfect for those who like sweet scents and non-acidic tropical limes. I detect it as feminine, but yes, anyone can use it because it’s summery.
