Darkbeat
Raghba Muski is exactly what its name suggests: a version of the original that is more floral, lighter and fresher, with less sweetness but more musk. It smells clean, almost sterile, with just a touch of warm sweetness coming from the Raghba family. It doesn’t evolve much; it’s almost linear. At first, you get a fleeting nod to the original that lasts a second, before the musk and lily of the the valley take over. It’s a delicate treasure: lilies on a bed of pure musk with a tiny hint of sweetness. Later, the Raghba DNA reappears with toasting vanilla and musk, but much more moderate, standing out thanks to that trail of lilies that sets it apart from the other flankers. I’ve read it’s for women, and they’re partly right, but it’s unisex. It’s the most delicate in the saga, which is why it has a feminine reputation, but I don’t feel that way; men and women both wear it well. It lasts a long time, over 12 hours on skin, with a medium-to-high sillage, more noticeable in the first hour but without being overwhelming. Ideal for cold or temperate climates, day or night, though it also works well on cool summer evenings depending on your taste. If you liked the original Raghba but found it heavy, this is your lighter, muskier and floral version. If you don’t know it and are looking for something musky and floral with a touch of sweetness, it’s a very much worth considering option, especially given its quality-to-price ratio. Highly recommended.
