The scent moves from saffron and orange at the top through an opulent heart of orange blossom and caramel, finishing on fir resin, cedar and moss.
The opening of Ratchada is brisk and spicy: saffron, jasmine, orange and cempasúchil (the Mexican marigold, or tagetes) form a bright, almost sunny introduction. The saffron lends a subtle heat, while the orange and tagetes keep things lively.
