Been wearing this for days and it’s turned out to be brilliant: smells natural and well-blended, without giving away its low price. I haven’t tried the original Neroli Portofino, but this Flavia is a total success for sunny days and relaxed vibes. Imagine white linen, shorts, the beach or a mountain village, with friends or a partner; it perfectly captures that sunny, joyful feeling. Previously, I tried another Flavia inspired by Roja Elysium and it was a disaster—overly synthetic, so I threw it away. I bought this with some hesitation for around £20, looking for something cheap for daily heat, trying to avoid Issey Miyake, and although they aren’t similar, they serve the same purpose. The scent is barely citrus; from the start, it’s a pleasant white floral that lasts 5–6 hours without changing much. It’s linear but in a positive way: from the very first second to the end, it’s super attractive. I see it as completely unisex; my girlfriend smelled it on the first day and loved it, and by the second day she asked for a decant for work. It’s not seductive or for dates, but rather for enjoying time with people in spring and summer. The bottle is a disaster: it’s not cut glass, it looks like cheap Chinese plastic with complicated shapes. It looks good in photos, but in real life it’s uncomfortable and ugly to the touch. A normal glass would be better, but at this price, it’s more than recommended.
