I hadn’t found this fragrance in years until I finally managed to get a bottle. Romeo Gigli per Uomo is a sweet, intense fougère, somewhat unusual. Upon spraying, you notice cinnamon notes blending with aromatic base notes: on one hand, lavender that smells of barbershop soap, and on the other, warm spices that bring it closer to oriental scents, yet it remains a classic Italian and French fragrance. Perfumer Morillas demonstrates great expertise here. It works wonderfully in all four seasons and for any occasion. Its cinnamon, very well integrated into that classic structure, gives it a unique and beautiful touch; over time, it leaves a powdery trail with a subtle citrus afternote. The bottle contains lemon-green liquid and the cap resembles those on pharmacy or alcohol jugs. Excellent longevity and projection. Highly recommended if you enjoy classics. Note: it is about 20 to 30% similar to Balenciaga pour Homme.
