I find it a beautiful and elegant rose fragrance with a green opening. As it dries down, it becomes slightly talcum-like and reminds me of Florabotanica by Balenciaga, though its opening is more herbal and fresh. Both are suitable for the office and warm days, with moderate sillage and longevity of about four hours on my skin. Edit: over time, it no longer smells like Florabotanica; the rose shines in its most natural state as a unique protagonist. Only for lovers of this flower, and I am one of them.
Rosa Moceniga is a pretty and pleasant rose for spring and summer. It opens cheerfully with sweet bergamot, then dries down to a velvety, intense rose with fresh green notes. The lotus adds an aquatic touch, making it refreshing. It is elegant, feminine, and has presence. Unfortunately, on my skin it lasts only a couple of hours. Although the first hour is enjoyable with moderate sillage, it does not justify buying the full bottle. The Merchant of Venice usually offers good value for money with original scents and beautiful packaging, but it has not won me over here. Scent 7.5/10, Longevity 2/10, Sillage 6.5/10, Value for money 3/10, Versatility 4/10, Packaging 10/10. Would I buy again? No.
It’s like wearing a giant bouquet of luxurious, freshly cut, sweet roses with a dusty touch. If you overapply, it becomes overwhelming, but on the skin it is very persistent. It is nothing casual, unless you are a rose scent fanatic.
