  • I own the entire TRILOGY of this SAGA, and each one is SPECTACULAR—truly distinctive niche scents. The GREEN DEER “SAFEER” is the FRESHEST of the three; it immediately reminded me of GREEN HERBS like CORIANDER or OREGANO with hints of LIME, very EXQUISITE and QUIRKY. Of course, you’ll SMELL different from everyone else, and I LOVE that. It evokes the era of THE THREE KINGS, making it ideal for KING’S DAY in JANUARY, radiating MAGIC and that fresh GREEN of the LAWN. It’s not commercial, yet it doesn’t feel CHALLENGING—simply uncommon, and most people generally don’t take to it. Personally, I adore it just as much as AMEER and WAZEER. I simply love smelling different. 9/10.

  • A rare fragrance. At first, it smells like Lemon Pie. After an hour, it turns green, becoming barely woody as it dries. The first half-hour isn’t to my liking. Afterwards, it becomes more sophisticated and gains some appeal. I don’t see it as a summer scent as I thought; the vanilla is far too prominent. I’d place it more in SPRING, AUTUMN, and WINTER.

  • People will tell me it’s odd, but if you’ve ever eaten lemon pie, that’s what it smells like at first. Once it dries, it becomes softer… Very sweet for my taste, which is why I’m glad I bought a decant. I preferred Wazeer and Ameer, undoubtedly.

  • I visited an Arabic perfumerie and upon the first spray, I exclaimed ‘wow’—it was like an explosion of nature. Initially, I was immersed in a deep forest with bergamot and mint, a green shock of pure pleasure. Then the heart emerged: a wild animal strike with dense, savage musk. I felt a slight excitement, perhaps even pheromones; it’s distinct from others. By the end, I woke up to soft wood and vanilla. I recommend it for open spaces, night outings, or dates—not for enclosed offices where it might be overwhelming. It’s a sensory journey. It seems masculine, for those seeking something sophisticated yet unconventional. The emerald velvet bottle with the deer head already gives it away.

  • To my nose, it smells like a sophisticated person; it’s delicious. It’s not a scent for the masses, but it’s impressive—like a little herbal, green, spiced lemon dessert. My wife wore it with The Serpent by Maison Alhambra, and she smelled exquisite.

  • Pendragon

A citrusy, aromatic, and sweet masterpiece; truly a pleasure to wear, and I’ve received compliments, though I understand it won’t appeal to everyone as it’s not a basic scent.

  • Luchopetroff

Initial impression: citrus and green. After 15 minutes, cumin appears. As hours pass, the woods emerge to dominate the base. I loved the aroma; it has personality. Longevity: I applied a single spray at 13:00 and, after showering the next day at 15:00, I could still detect it right up against my skin. Excellent longevity for such a small amount. Projection and trail: I haven’t evaluated this correctly yet; I’ll keep testing. Context: It’s not casual wear; it demands at least a shirt. Ideal for afternoons and evenings. Above 30°C, I have doubts, but I’ll try it. Conclusion: Safeer surprised me for the better. It has character, impressive longevity, and performs well with little. First impression very positive.

To Noble Safeer: A distinctive niche fragrance that will make you stand out. I see it for days under 30 degrees, perfect for afternoons and evenings with friends. It literally smells like lemon gummies—if you’ve tried the little lemon candies, that’s exactly it, sweet with herbal touches. It’s very linear; I find no shift between the opening and dry-down; it stays consistent. DO NOT BUY BLIND if you aren’t already in the niche world, as you simply won’t like it. Packaging: Simple cardboard with a good velvety design 8.5. Bottle: Glass lined in suede, unique, topped with a heavy, eye-catching deer head cap 9.0. Atomiser: Regular to poor, low power 6.5. Longevity: Lasts 4–5 hours on my skin, with two extra sprays detectable right up against the skin. It macerates but doesn’t increase aroma or longevity; by the sixth hour you can still feel it, though by the seventh it’s hard to detect 8.2. Projection: One metre away in the first hour 8.0. Trail: A bit weak, but noticeable when passing by 8.0. Compliments: None so far, but people ask because it’s so different 7.5. Price: $20, super accessible 9.5. Conclusion: Versatile except for formal events; no problem for anything else. Normal longevity 6–7 hours and very distinctive. Final rating: 8.2

  • To my nose, it smells more of undeclared lemon than bergamot. The green bottle makes a good reference to lemon, complemented by green notes, spices, and incense. It’s a pleasant aroma but not captivating; it doesn’t garner compliments (if that’s what you’re looking for). Good projection and longevity.

  • I confess I bought four bottles in case it gets discontinued, and although I haven’t finished the first one yet, every use surprises me. It’s a blend of freshness, sweetness, spices, and a hint of acid. The bergamot starts vibrant and sparkling before merging with a spiced, woody base. It lasts about eight hours; it projects well at first, creating an enveloping trail, then becomes intimate and skin-close. It doesn’t change much over time, which I like, maintaining that forest sensation. If you like oud, layer it with Lattafa’s Oud for Glory: Safeer on top complements that sophisticated scent perfectly.

  • To me, it’s a very synthetic and cloying lemonade, like the bottled syrup mixed with water from the old days. It also has a notable herbal touch. I waited a year hoping it would improve with oxidation, but it remains equally unpleasant. I don’t know the performance; the maximum I managed without washing was perhaps two hours.

  • Ren Majestic

The opening is intense: sweet, green, citrusy, and spiced, all synthetic and rather unappealing. It’s like drinking a Coca-Cola with herbs, perhaps a Jagger. The bottle is beautiful, with velvet and a metal cap, but on closer inspection, the logo isn’t centred and the letters aren’t aligned. It’s like having a great idea poorly executed. I didn’t like it and it doesn’t appeal to me at all, to be honest.

  • ElLocoDeLosPerfumes

Addictive and smelling of Cinzano vermouth, a very particular scent I’ve never encountered in any perfume before.

  • At first, you smell the citrus of the bergamot with very green notes. As it dries down, the sweetness (nuts) enters, smelling like lemon cake. I don’t detect the wood, but perhaps it’s not noticeable in the combination. It doesn’t cause olfactory fatigue; it’s long-lasting but challenging. UPDATE 04/23/25: After months of oxidation, it has improved immensely. Now I do notice the wood behind the bergamot; the herbal notes are always there, but I’ve improved or the perfume has evolved. It’s worth it. UPDATE 11/24/25: Layering with Al Noble Safeer and Encre Noire Sport. Safeer opens deliciously, like a lemon dessert with an herbal hint of celery. When combined with ENS, that green softens; the fresh, clean vetiver corrects the green phase, leaving a balanced, masculine, and easy scent for warm climates. It lasts 7-9 hours with good projection from two sprays. This blend improves Safeer without taking away its freshness.

  • Gastón Hernándo collado

To be honest, it’s a bomb: sweet citrus, lots of green, herbs, wood, and a just and balanced attack that makes it quirky and elegant. It’s a different scent that pleasantly surprised me. If you atomise too much, it becomes cloying and overwhelms the senses, but it’s an excellent scent.

  • Iguanodondy

I bought it blindly because it seemed similar to Initio’s Oud for Happiness, and upon spraying it, it was something unique that transported me out of the city as if it were a Harry Potter teleporter. I found myself in a dense pine forest with recent rain and mist, all dew; in the background, a goat with its deep urea scent, amidst a patch of coriander waiting for the victim wearing that animal and green aroma. It sums up to green, animal, and more green. There isn’t enough green in a palette to draw it; it’s Arabic perfumery taking an underexplored aspect to the extreme. Ideal for impact in a daytime meeting, like when you want to be ‘the goat that pees the most’. UPDATE oxidation: After two months in the shadows, it changed completely. It no longer smells like a pine forest or has the animal part, but it’s still a wuaaaaoo. The opening is intense lemon caramel, the kind left in glass bowls, transporting you to childhood scrunching your face at the sour taste and brown sugar. As it dries down, the citrus lowers and black pepper and coriander with sugar appear. At four hours, notes of sweet wood, patchouli, and incense emerge, softening the initial tension. It’s for a daytime event not related to food due to its potency. Trail is moderate to powerful, with eternal longevity of over 12 hours; if you want to take it off, you need to amputate. Buy blindly for a woody, spiced citrus. For those over 30, it’s not a youthful citrus like Lacoste; it’s warm and woody.

  • I dislike this perfume very much, even though I love difficult ones like Interlude. With this, there’s no case; I don’t wear it for more than half an hour and it overwhelms me to an extreme level. But I’ll give it another chance; I see the reviews and think I must be wrong, so I try it again…

  • Acidic, astringent, sweet, and spiced all at once, with a memory of medicinal herbs. Intense all on its own. I was looking for a ‘distinct’ fougere and what a distinct one it is. Some may not like it or find it cloying, but if you like it, it can be addictive. Currently one of my favourites.

  • Lattafa’s Safeer is one of those perfumes that, without being a masterpiece, knows how to play its cards very well. At first glance, you don’t expect much for the price, but Safeer delivers more than it promises. It’s not the perfume that changes your life, but for what you pay, it’s solid, with body and nuances that compete with more expensive ones. The first notes are a sweet, jovial fruity burst, cheerful without being cloying. Gradually, a spiced and warm layer emerges with a crafty touch and a stable woody base. Is it revolutionary? No. Is it worth the cost? Undoubtedly. It’s like that plain suit you bought without great expectations and ended up wearing more than you thought because it feels comfortable. You won’t impress luxury fanatics, nor will you go unnoticed. For those seeking something accessible, with character and good performance on cool nights or in autumn, it fulfils its function. It doesn’t define your style, but it accompanies you faithfully without pretensions, and sometimes that’s all that’s needed. Safeer leaves you with the feeling of having made a good move without spending more than necessary.

  • Hello, I’m sharing my thoughts because it’s not what people say. It’s a citrus scent with caramel, very long-lasting and makes a statement. It’s excellent; my husband loved it more than other hyped fragrances. It’s truly undervalued. It’s 100% masculine. A beast, really. Outstanding. 100/10.

  • I’ve had this fragrance for some time; the moment I smelled it, I was fascinated. It smells green, like a forest. It’s perfect for walks under trees or in parks so as not to overpower the natural setting, smelling of caramelised little plants. It belongs to the Fougère Spicy family, where fern and green notes take centre stage, with a soft caramel base. I wore it once at a craft beer expo; it lasted all day outdoors. The impact was so strong that every time I wear it now, I’m reminded of that day of drunkenness with my wife (which was very enjoyable), so now it’s my drinking perfume. I love wearing it on days I have a beer. I hope this helps; for the price, it’s a steal, you can’t ask for more.

  • Very rich fragrance. It’s different because the citrus is sweet, like a lemon pie. Excellent longevity, projection and trail.

  • My favourite fragrance. I won’t go into detail as I’m not an expert, but since a friend let me test it among 15 others, it was love at first sight. If you like being different and enjoy citrus, this is your perfume.

  • At first, I like it simply because it’s different. It has more than it seems; development is evident within the first half-hour. It reminds me a bit of Gerlain’s vetiver, which I don’t particularly like, but here I think it works better. It must be the savoury herb; I’ve never identified it before. It has a sweet note that doesn’t fully convince me, yet it’s not excessive; the patchouli acidifies subtly in an addictive way. I do recognise the gaia wood; it adds creaminess without killing the spicy tone. I like this strange thing. High versatility, ridiculous price, standout longevity and near-niche differentiation. It is challenging, of course, but that’s what we’re here for. Update: wearing this Safeer more often, I detect with increasing intensity an undeclared note of saffron; for some reason, I now see it as the core of the fragrance.

  • Oh, I tried it the other day. The blotter still smelled the second day. It lasts too long, but the scent didn’t convince me. I didn’t detect any lemon or bergamot, or at least they were very blended. I’m not sure if it’s the savoury herb I didn’t like or something that lingers that doesn’t convince me and becomes sweet or sticky like most Arab fragrances. It’s a beast; it lasts a long time and projects well, but it needs to be tested properly on skin to see how it develops. It’s not for everyone.

  • Mikereyvar10

A different scent. It’s not the typical perfume that makes you fall in love the moment you smell the opening, or at least that was my experience. The first day it seemed odd to me; I didn’t like it much. The scent I perceived was green battling with woods and spices to see who dominated; that phase isn’t my favourite. When it dries down, it becomes delicious, sweeter, less green. As an anecdote, I swore my wife wouldn’t like it at all. One day I applied it at 11 am; I saw her at 7 pm and she said, ‘You smell delicious, what a treat you just put it on, is it Layton, isn’t it?’. I was left :O haha. Firstly, for the potency; I could barely smell it myself and never needed to reapply. As for the resemblance to Layton, for me, there’s nothing to do with it, but she loved it. Anyway, as many reviews mention, it’s a different scent. In my opinion, it’s worth it, but you must try it first and give it a few chances.

  • Jaime Ramírez

I’ve tried it several times in a perfumery and the truth is, it’s delicious and lasts very well; even after a shower, you can still smell it close to the skin. It’s for fresh or warm days, super herbal and fresh; it’s worth it.

  • Absolute beast of a fragrance; I call it ‘the coriander one’ because once it dries on my skin, it smells exactly like crushing seeds in a mortar. It’s rich, intense, and lasts forever. If it drips on your coat, you’re in trouble xD

  • oscar.delia

I bought this perfume by mistake. I don’t know the Initio fragrance this one tries to inspire, but this citrus scent with incredible trail and longevity… it’s a unique, different aroma that everyone likes.

  • morenoparfum

The best spicy citrus I’ve tried, almost at niche level. The opening features warm lemon and bergamot with a spicy kick that projects metres away. My wife says it smells like freshly cut grass. I wear it a lot in summer and people appreciate it, receiving compliments. Ideal for open spaces, nothing for the office. The luxury bottle with plush velvet and premium finishes deserves a place on your shelf. Excellent quality and price

  • Very well developed; I’d dare say it smells niche. It’s not something I’m used to, and for now, I wouldn’t wear it as I didn’t like it. Perhaps in a few years, once I learn more, I’ll grow to enjoy it

  • Lattafa Al Noble Safeer: For some tastes and colours… I don’t wish to hurt anyone’s feelings and I’ll be frank: the quality is evident, but I simply cannot wear this. It smells of green caramel, like medicine or ointment; it is truly repulsive to me. I see no occasion to use it, in heat or cold, day or night. It has its following; I gave it several chances but there was no change; every time I smelled it, it became more disagreeable. I even tried using it as a bathroom freshener and still couldn’t manage it, so I gifted it to someone at work whom I dislike. As they say… it’s not you, it’s me who doesn’t know how to appreciate it. Anyway, it’s not obligatory that we like everything. Scent: Not to my liking. Projection: Good. Longevity: Good. I recommend trying before buying; it is not an easy fragrance.

  • A very interesting aroma, different but VERY DIFFICULT to wear. The sage note is too dense, giving off a smell of coriander and freshly cut celery. It doesn’t please everyone. It’s worth enjoying just for relaxation, putting you in a mood of walking through a forest or chopping wood. I don’t recommend buying it blindly as it smells like a woodland elf’s prepared green salad, dressed with its juices. The presentation is beautiful, wrapped in velvet with a heavy metal cap. Best to go for its siblings, Ameer or Wazeer

  • Interesting scent with good longevity and a presentation that is a ten, but I believe the caramel and citrus notes I perceive do not quite combine well.

  • A creamy and spiced lemon that is simply spectacular!!. I don’t see it for summer; it is perfect for evening wear.

  • A charming and distinctive fragrance, something different from the others due to its green notes combined with incense and amber, which are what I smell most. Thank you, Lattafa.

  • Thanks to this fragrance, I got rid of one of my favourites; it is remarkably similar to Oud for Happiness, obviously with lesser quality but the DNA is identical. It boasts great longevity and asks nothing of Initio.
