One of the first I tried: a super citrus opening, with a fresh base of uncomplicated woods. Perfect for the office or everyday wear. Highly recommended. It’s that kind of perfume you don’t notice until it saves the day. Brilliant 💜

Citrusy and woody, one of my favourites that brings back so many memories. It opens citrusy and dries down sweet without losing that acidic edge. Masculine and everyone likes it. The projection is medium-low, about an hour and a half, then close to the skin for another four hours. As an EDT, it doesn’t last six hours like most. I loved it always, wearing it all day and into the night. It’s no longer available in Argentina and I never managed to restock. It was very affordable (I bought it with my part-time salary), so the price-to-quality ratio isn’t bad.

Citrusy and woody, one of the ones I loved most and that brings me memories overflowing. Citrus opening, when it dries it becomes sweet without losing the citrus touch. Masculine, liked by men and women. The projection is medium, leaning towards weak; it lasts about an hour, then close to the skin for around four hours. To be an EDT it doesn’t reach six hours like most. I love this fragrance; I always used it, partly because I didn’t have much money and only had a couple of perfumes. Mainly for the day, but also at night and it was appreciated. At least in Argentina it’s not available; I never managed to restock it. I remember it was very accessible (I bought it with my half-time salary), so I don’t see the cost/performance ratio as bad.

The scent is lovely, I liked it. Unfortunately, it doesn’t last long and is quite soft. Given the price, it’s not very expensive, so you can reapply it several times a day.

I’ve just finished the bottle and would definitely buy it again. It has a musky, sexy aroma, one of those that revives you on a hot day. Perhaps it doesn’t last as long, but if you reapply and spray several times on your clothes and neck, you’re sure to steal some sighs. Many people asked me what I was wearing, especially in summer where it truly shines.

I’ve just finished a bottle and would definitely buy it again. It has a sexy powdery aroma, one of those that revives you when it’s exhausting heat. Perhaps it doesn’t last the best, but if you reapply and give several sprays to your clothes and neck, you’ll surely steal some sighs. Many people asked me what I was wearing, especially in summer where it shows its splendour.

Fresh aroma, ideal for straight out of the shower or heading to the gym; I see it as everyday wear. The downside is the longevity. It lasts about two hours projecting, with luck thirty minutes. I wouldn’t recommend it.

I really like how it blends citrus and woody tones; at first it smells much more citrusy than an hour later, when it becomes quite sweet. It smells truly very masculine, a little sporty and would suit someone under thirty. Unfortunately, the longevity is relatively okay and the trail is very thin; an hour later it’s almost skin-scent only. Still, a very good fragrance.

I love how it blends citrus and woods. It opens very citrusy and becomes sweeter after an hour. Smells very masculine, slightly sporty, I think it suits those under 30. Unfortunately, the longevity is okay but the trail is very weak; after an hour it’s almost skin scent. Still, a very good fragrance.

One of my favourite scents; it’s exquisite but has shortcomings. The projection and longevity are short; it could have been one of the best citrus fragrances, but it fails on projection. Recommended for hot days, enclosed spaces or meetings.

I accepted the Challenge in 2012: a bright, citrusy opening with a very prominent lemon note (a bit synthetic) and fresh, almost no sweetness, more acidic and intense. Within seconds, lavender emerges mixed with ginger and violet leaves, which I don’t entirely enjoy, as the lemon and bergamot still dominate, making the cocktail difficult to digest, especially when the woody notes appear. As it dries down and settles on the skin, it becomes intensely alkaline, almost with a hint of amber, and that blend of scents hasn’t appealed to me; I feel they lack a defined character and are hard to wear. For me, I also didn’t like the trail on clothes, which smells like old fragrance, like a sun-dried fabric you notice days later. Definitely not one of the best Lacostes (happy with Essential, Red, or the original); it’s supposed to be sporty, yet it doesn’t seem pleasant for exercise despite the strong citrus. Better for daytime in hot climates, from casual to office wear, and I think it will suit young people aged 18 to 30. The fixative isn’t the best; it performs better on clothes than on skin. Recommended sprays: 4 to 6. Fixative: 7.5. Sillage: Medium. Intensity: Medium.

Lacoste Challenge is citrusy and woody. The opening is fresh with somewhat unnatural citrus (I suppose almost all are, but in some it’s less noticeable), yet still pleasant. This phase lasts about two hours without changes, then moves to dry down and becomes more woody and aromatic; the citrus lowers but it remains fresh. Suitable for warm days, spring and summer. For casual activities, I think it’s quite youthful, for going out with friends, to the cinema, or outdoors. I recommend it for those seeking something simple and unpretentious, just to give a fresh sensation. The longevity reached about eight hours, with projection close to the skin.

It’s a citrus aroma (especially at first), fresh and not very sweet (throughout the scent), and particularly, it smells very little of soap. It doesn’t stand out much, as although it has originality, it isn’t perceived as attractive or captivating, but most like it. In other words, it’s pleasing but could go unnoticed and I wouldn’t recommend buying it blind unless you love fresh aromas. In general it’s versatile, but I prefer it for the day; I even use it for sport and it looks good in informal situations. It doesn’t cater to a specific age range; it suits well both young people and adults. Unfortunately, it doesn’t have the best longevity or projection, although its price isn’t high, though it could be cheaper given its moderate longevity and trail. Versatility = 8. Longevity = 7. Projection = 7. Price = 8. Rating = 7.5.

It smells clean and fresh; that citrus blend with a teakwood note gives it an authentic feel, nothing synthetic. I love it, giving it an 8.5 out of 10.

Another letdown from Lacoste. The citrus opening is decent, but the dry-down is interminable, bland and synthetic. There’s nothing more to say; it just makes me feel lazy. The performance is laughable.
Tlakochkalkatl
One of my favourites, but it stays in the bottle far too long. I only wear it when it truly matters.

One of my favourites; it stays in the bottle for ages and I only use it when it really counts.

In general, Lacoste’s men’s fragrances are exquisite but very weak on longevity, perhaps because it’s a sporty line. The enjoyment is personal; it’s not for drawing attention or evening events. I separate Lacoste Le Blanc and Pour Homme as the most enduring, ideal for night conquests and seduction.
horaciohvmasek
It smells good, but it’s not one of the best. Another negative point: it doesn’t last long; it’s more for personal enjoyment.
