It’s a great fragrance; the declared notes are very well perceived, especially the rhubarb and coffee, along with the mango and peach. However, it’s not a scent to buy blindly. In my view, it’s a perfume for moderate personal use at home. I don’t find it easy to wear in public; it’s too heavy and leaves a significant trail. In fact, it causes me a stomach ache if applied too close to the neck. I’ve even had to wash with abundant water because the skin fixation is extreme. I wish commercial perfumery could achieve this level of longevity.
It’s a top-tier fragrance; the promised notes are absolutely present: rhubarb, coffee, mango, and peach. However, be warned: don’t buy it blindly. In my opinion, it’s best suited for moderate use at home. I find it too heavy, leaves a strong trail, and actually gives me a stomach ache if applied close to the neck. I’ve had to wash the area with plenty of water because the longevity on the skin is extreme. I wish commercial perfumery could match this staying power.
I bought a decant, and as @Orlandoperfumesman said, it’s not easy to handle at first. On my skin, the opening is super acidic and fresh, almost overwhelming; that coffee-citrus blend smells very strange, like overripe fermenting passionfruit. Some people find it disgusting, even telling me it smells like vomit (sorry for the graphic description). But after two hours, once I stopped shouting, it settles and softens with the heart, becoming much more charming and less brash. Being an extrait, the longevity is extreme: you could get married and it would still be detectable. Beware with the sprays; two full pumps will fill a room because the projection is immense and the trail is heavy. In short, it’s a challenge for those not used to it, but interesting for those who have tried different scents and want to dive into the hyper-challenging niche. It’s a taste that is acquired. Watch out, test it first in controlled environments. I’m glad so many Colombian niche houses are starting to emerge.
