Today I discovered this Colombian niche house and was so fascinated by the story behind this one and the other perfumes in this collection that I went to smell them. In short, Aurora Pacific represents a sunrise over the Pacific Ocean, and its scent, like the rest of this collection, is marked by contrasts. Knowing this, my expectations were high and it definitely lived up to them. I am not going to talk about notes in a complex way, but it seemed very similar to BOSS Bottled Absou, with a much longer-lasting leather note (something I always regretted not having in the BBA) and a contrast that, although it made it woody and spicy, had a relatively fresh and very masculine opening and evolution during the first two hours. The base notes open very clearly and suddenly the perfume moves to a very unisex tone with spectacular vanilla and tonka bean, with the tobacco in the background (very deep in the background, but perceptible). For evolution, I give it a 10, because I expected contrasts and it gave me all of them, and how. I am not going to rate the scent, because although I loved it and it came very close to my favourite perfume (the BBA), it is not a blind buy. For performance, I give it an 8 because, although they opted for a perfume extract to give it longevity, it is not what I am used to seeing in these concentrations and, unfortunately, that decision sacrifices sillage. In short, I fell in love with this perfume and its evolution. It is great to find quality like this in Colombia.
The acquisition of this fragrance responded to the search for a distinctive olfactory composition, markedly masculine in character, with considerable projection and presence. I must point out that no previous fragrance had generated as many favourable comments from third parties. The cardamom note is, from my perspective, the dominant and persistent element of this composition. It is worth mentioning that I live in a hot, suffocating tropical climate, where the heat index usually exceeds 40 degrees Celsius. These adverse climatic conditions limit the use of the fragrance exclusively to air-conditioned environments. Olfactory evolution: the progression of the fragrance reveals dark chocolate nuances approximately between 30 and 60 minutes after application, while the tobacco notes maintain a constant and perceptible presence on the skin. Longevity and projection: the persistence of the fragrance is exceptional, remaining perceptible on textiles 2-3 days after the initial application. Despite its notable projection, it is neither aggressive nor invasive, achieving a balance that allows it to be detected from a distance without being overwhelming. Recommendation: for the male segment, I consider this fragrance highly recommended, but I advise against buying it as a blind buy. My initial experience was one of rejection; it took a gradual adaptation period that eventually placed it among my favourite fragrances.

Aurora Pacific is a Pacific dawn, and like the rest, plays with contrasts. My expectations were sky-high and they were fully met. Cardamomo is the king here, dominant and persistent. I live in a stifling tropical climate with a heat index of 40 degrees, so I only wear it in air-conditioned places. Evolution: between 30 and 60 minutes it smells like dark chocolate, while the tobacco remains present and constant. Longevity and projection: it’s exceptional; it’s noticeable on clothes for up to 2-3 days afterwards. Although it projects a lot, it’s not aggressive or invasive; it achieves a balance to be felt at a distance without suffocating. Recommendation: for the masculine type, it’s a must, but don’t buy blind. At first, it gave me some rejection and I had to get used to it, but it ended up being one of my favourites.
