The shape is deliberately gradual: lively fruit and citrus first, a gentler gourmand-floral middle, and a drier finish of black amber, cedarwood and vetiver.
The opening pairs blackcurrant with bergamot and lime. The berry note feels succulent and slightly tart, the citrus keeps it airy with a fresh, zesty lift.
At the heart, praline, musk and violet take over. There is a cosy, nutty sweetness here, tempered by the soft powder of violet and the clean cushion of musk.
The foundation rests on black amber, cedar and vetiver. Amber lends a dark glow, cedar supplies a straight woody line, and vetiver adds grassy, rooty texture.
