HeavenDuft has unveiled Ṣalṣāl — صَلْصَال, a woody oriental fragrance intended for both men and women. It is a new release for 2026, crafted by perfumer Tausif Shaikh.
The composition pairs a bright, verdant opening with a floral, spicy heart and a deep resinous base. The final impression is warm, complex and quietly powerful.
At the very start, bergamot provides a lively citrus shimmer, while galbanum and cypress bring a green, resinous character. Neroli softens the edges with a delicate floral nuance.
The heart is dominated by jasmine sambac and Turkish rose, lifted by frankincense and saffron. There is a lovely tension between the flowers and the smoky, spicy notes, with the rose turning from soft to almost suede-like as the scent develops.
The base is substantial: Vietnamese and Cambodian oud combine with sandalwood, patchouli, vetiver, oakmoss, fir and oud wood. Ambergris, benzoin, musk and civet enrich it with warmth and a subtle animalic edge.
Woody, aromatic and amber accords lead the way, supported by spicy, green, earthy and balsamic layers. The perfume unfolds slowly, each hour adding a new shade to its character.
