  I picked this up on a Spanish website where it was hard to find and at a price that made it a no-brainer. I knew it was discontinued and my curiosity got the better of me. To cut to the chase, Samourai smells good but doesn’t last long on my skin, which is unusual for me. Upon application, the first thing I notice is ambroxan, loads of it, even though it’s not listed in the ingredients. It sounds pleasant, but you can tell it’s synthetic. If I had to categorise it, it’s marine, as it transports me to the shore, although it’s not fresh. Over the 4-5 hours it lasts, there’s no change; it remains that ambroxan scent. In the end, I use it after a bath and it’s very pleasant. The bottle is nice, the spray mechanism is one of the best I’ve tried, and the turquoise colour of the liquid looks gorgeous.
