  It’s like a luxury body cream or makeup; it smells like a dressing table with exquisite creams, which I love. There are floral notes where the rose is slightly present and lingers, very pretty, quite camouflaged by other notes, reminiscent of creamy heliotrope, perhaps due to the almond hints. Soft, pretty, and elegant, nothing heavy. Although some might say it smells vintage, to me it has class, evoking old, powdery perfumes but without the talcum powder. It’s not Scarlet Rouge; the name can be misleading if you expect a huge, sexy trail, but depending on what you consider sexy, it can certainly be that and much more, very sensual.

  Completely agree with the previous review. To me, it smells more like a luxury body cream—the kind you’re reluctant to use and save for special occasions. More red than anything, it’s a rich, milky pink. It radiates cleanliness, tidiness, and noticeable elegance. The longevity is good, though it’s not a sillage bomb, and I believe that’s its real strength. It’s not vintage for me; I bought it blind and I’m delighted 👌🏼🌺
