Descripción
Scuderia Ferrari by Ferrari is a men's fragrance from the olfactive family. Launched in 2010, the nose behind this composition is Karine Dubreuil-Sereni. The top notes unfold a vibrant Amalfi lemon, Amalfi lime, lavender, mint and mandarin. The heart reveals a blend of tea, rosemary, geranium and pepper, while the base notes settle on musk, Virginia cedar, tonka bean, guaiac wood and amber.

A relative lent me a tester to try for several days. The first thing I noticed was that soapy smell (like talc but soapy), coming from the lavender in the formula, alongside light but recognisable citrus notes. A few minutes later, some very soft floral aromas emerge without losing the masculinity. It doesn’t have the same projection as other Ferrari scents I wear, but the longevity is the same. Overall, it smells very nice and pleasant. To finish, I like almost all Ferrari bottles (except the Passion Unlimited), but this is the most handsome of them all.

“IT’S THE SAME AS FERNANDO ALONSO’S FERRARI…” The opening is very citrusy, green, and woody, fresh but with a strong alcohol presence. It has that soapy vibe you can’t miss. Although Ferrari scents are usually mediocre, this is one of their best. The scent isn’t linear: after five minutes, the lemon fades and lavender and florals emerge (in my opinion). Tonka bean adds a very light sweet touch. Rest assured, it’s 100% masculine. Perfect for casual wear in mild weather or heat, with no age limit. Longevity is poor-to-medium and projection is good only for the first half-hour, then it stays close to the skin. I wouldn’t buy it in a department store as they charge as if it were gold, but if someone gifts it to me… I’ll use it. Good dry-down.

I was gifted a sample and now that I’ve tried it, I like it. It opens strong with citrus and lavender, then a spicy note becomes noticeable, probably from the pepper, with a touch of tea and florals without being overwhelming. Rozz mentioned the first hour has good projection, but afterwards it sits close to the skin and longevity is medium-low (what a shame). It’s a decent fragrance, ideal for informal office wear or going out with the girl. I think it’s expensive and there are cheaper options with a similar style; if it were more affordable, I’d always wear it, but if I find it at a good price, I won’t let it go.

I walked into a shop solely because of the ridiculous price, expecting the worst, but what a gem I walked away with. The opening is a zesty lemon that tingles, with a vintage touch that I absolutely love, and as it dries down it becomes sweet mandarin with musk. I tested it against the Ferrari Red and this wins by a landslide. Totally recommended.
I walked into a store solely because of the ridiculous price, expecting the worst, but what a find I got. The opening is a sharp lemon that stings, with a vintage touch that I absolutely love. As it dries down, it becomes sweet tangerine with a musk note. I tested it against Ferrari Red and this one wins by a landslide. Highly recommended.
