  • A very good Rasasi fragrance. I’m not an expert at identifying ingredients, but in the opening I notice cardamom, a scent that neither appeals to nor disgusts me, but combined with the rest it gives a very spicy aspect, perhaps it’s the pepper, and nothing unpleasant. Once it calms down, notes enter that soften the initial spiciness. When it dries, it leaves a balsamic scent; I notice guaiac wood and amber, and it stays like this for hours. It has remarkable longevity, a minimum of 12 hours, with outstanding trail and projection. This Sotor Waaw has character and intensity, so I recommend not overdoing the application: one on the chest and one on the back of each wrist, nothing on the neck, because it could tire both those around you and yourself. For me, it’s a great discovery in a blind buy, my first from an Arabian house, and I am pleasantly surprised by the scent, quality, development, and performance. The quality-price ratio is excellent. I’ve worn it during the day, although I see it’s more for the evening; it goes well in winter and during the day in autumn, but in spring it seems risky, I’ll try it anyway. Strictly forbidden in summer.

Sotor Waaw… ¡waaaaaoou! A sweet, fresh, spicy sandalwood, very unisex and soft. It becomes more smoky after half an hour. Although it doesn’t have musk, I perceive a hint in its dry-down. Very delicious! 10 out of 10.

  • This Rasasi fragrance has been a tremendous surprise: non-alcoholic, premium designer quality. It opens with a cinnamon that is one of the few I like, more powdery than sweet, with clean cardamom, pepper, and saffron, all very well combined, powerful but without being harsh. It doesn’t have a huge evolution; it starts with the top notes and then the cardamom fades a bit, emerging with a touch of fresh lavender, not sharp. I don’t detect cedar or vetiver. The quality remains throughout; it’s not tiring and gives a cosy feeling. It’s perfect for autumn, any occasion, easy to wear, and versatile in the cold, with nothing strident. It projects very well, about a metre and a half for 2 or 3 hours, and lasts more than 8 hours. For less than €40, it’s a 10/10. Scent: 7.8, Longevity: 8.1, Projection: 7.7, Emotional: Yes, Originality: 6, Highly recommended.

  • This Rasasi is a tremendous surprise: zero alcohol, premium quality, and a dusty (not sweet) cinnamon paired with clean cardamom, pepper, and saffron. Everything is potent yet never shouty. It doesn’t evolve much; it starts with the top notes, then the cardamom fades to reveal a soft, non-pungent lavender touch. I detect no cedar or vetiver, but the quality is consistent: it’s not tiring, feels cosy, and is perfect for autumn or any occasion. Easy to wear, versatile in the cold, and without any harshness. Projects well (1.5m for 2/3 hours) and lasts 8+ hours. For under £40, it’s a 10/10. Batch May 2021. Scent: 7.8, Longevity: 8.1, Projection: 7.7, Emotional: Yes, Originality: 6. Highly recommended.

  • To be very frank. I bought a decant of the Rasasi Sotor line because I thought it was the most long-lasting… it was a waste of money. Rasasi has never disappointed me before, but this is the worst investment. The box and bottle are basic, the label is stuck on with tape, the atomiser is rudimentary, and the scent is very simple, like a celebrity perfume. All the Sotor fragrances are good, but this is the worst and falls short on longevity and projection. It’s a simple sweet unisex scent with a hint of cardamom that doesn’t last or project. Don’t spend on this; there are better things for less money. From Rasasi, I recommend Shurha, Yuqawan, or Fattan, but this Sotor line is a disaster.

  • The performance is excellent in longevity, sillage, and projection, as the 99% of reviews state. The opening is a spicy explosion of cinnamon and cardamom that settles on a dominant, yet light and soapy, cinnamon note. It sounds like a more wearable reinterpretation of Bentley For Man Intense: here it is toned down, soapy, and without the boozy alcohol of the BFM (which is a beast in longevity but very formal and disliked by some). Compared to the Bentley, this ‘Sootor Waw’ is highly recommended, a safe blind buy, to most people’s taste, and super versatile. Don’t overuse it in summer. I disagree with those who say it doesn’t project: this perfume punches hard and you won’t go unnoticed.

  • Excellent longevity, trail, and projection, as the 99% of reviews say. The opening is a spicy explosion of cinnamon and cardamom, which then settles with that dominant cinnamon note, nothing heavy and very soapy. It sounds like a more wearable reinterpretation of Bentley For Man Intense (less intense, soapy, and without the rum of BFM, which is a bomb but very formal and suffocating). In conclusion: Sotor Waaw is highly recommended, a safe purchase, to most people’s taste, and super versatile. Don’t overuse it in summer. I disagree with the previous review because this fragrance knocks it out of the park; you won’t go unnoticed.

  • It’s 97% similar to Armand Basi Pour Homme, but with a more pronounced sweetness. The longevity exceeds 10 hours, and the projection is good for the first two hours, very intense. Afterwards, it stays closer to the skin, a bit synthetic like most Rasasi fragrances, but understandable given its low cost.

Unique perfume and great value; works brilliantly in both cold and heat. I absolutely love it; it projects well and lasts a long time. Plus, I got it as a tester, so the final price is even better.

  • I bought this fragrance gem this year and already know I’ll need to refill it. Although it’s not the most natural scent I’ve ever encountered, for the price I paid, I think it’s the best in my entire collection. The opening and dry-down are fantastic; it’s sweet and spicy, and it has already filled me with compliments for autumn and winter. What a delight, one of the best I’ve tried this year.

  • Sergio albornoz

A unique perfume at an excellent price, ideal for both heat and cold, very pleasant with good projection and longevity. I managed to get it as a tester, which makes it an even better deal.
